There have been bombings there everyday since black powder was discovered. People are nuts.

But yes, we won. Removed a dictator, displaced his army, built another, and are helping rebuild the country.

They don't want us there?.. Really?... Have you asked them, because I have.

Those people were so happy to see us they were literally crying and hugging us.

Get a clue before you open your mouth.

He doesn't want a clue. He wants to be a socialist. That's why I didn't bother responding to his little crybaby tort earlier.

uh, then why do they throw bombs at you?

why do they hoard their own money instead of using it for the war effort?

why should i shut my mouth because YOU say so, bucky boy?

more brain washing, and you're the proud recipient. be proud.

Yeah, you're right.

You probibly know more about what it's like over there.

After all you watch the news, and they never put a slant on anything.

I was brainwashed by my own fucking eyes.

Good thing we have "experts" like you shootin' shit outta your mouth, or we might all get brainwashed by the facts.

Do you have any idea who's throwing those bombs at our boys?

Either use your whole brain, or shut it down the rest of the way.

But don't tell me how it is over there, 'cause you're an ignorant ass.

Annnd... :finger: I bash you.

Great to see another political thread degenerate, even a light-hearted one.

If people want to act like children, they should be ignored as such.

Bored gets an iggy.

Chief gets an iggy.

And yeah, STP falls on the hippy side of the fence more often than not (and I don't care for hippies), but does anyone deserve those kinds of attacks?

cliche?? nick, your assertion that the war is won proves that you tow the rights line. the country doesn't even want us there.

yep, we won. that's why there are bombings there every day.

if that's winning........ :o

you can keep your cliche comments to yourself as long as you keep making them yourself. it makes you sound like a hypocrite.

Keep the cliches coming.

Chiefstang pretty much summed up my end of the argument.

But the opposite of the "lesser of two evils" got elected.

Personally, I really don't think there will be much difference between the two. Neither one of them will enact any kind of reforms that we actually need.

The best thing that can happen at this point is Obama having a lackluster first term, where nothing really significant gets done, and people call him out on falling through on all of his promises of "change", and then the Republicans offer up another useless candidate who brings the same tired campaign rhetoric to the campaign trail. It would be the perfect scenario for a solid 3rd party candidate to actually gain some traction when offering up real change. And no, Bob Barr, Ron Paul, and Ralph Nader aren't what I'd call "good" 3rd party candidates.

It's ok, they are just having a little fun, I don't take it too serious. But yeah, I am not the hippie they think I am, it might surprise them that I am pro gun and love to hunt and fish.

It might be different up in Northern Ohio, or in Michigan, but around here, all the neighborhoods that are considered "liberal" are also the places you are least likely to see an Big 3 domestic product around.

Go to Massachusetts and see what people drive - other than taxis and trucks, seeing a Ford product is a rare sight indeed. My brother-in-law lives in Boston - no one buys domestic there.

The UAW has thrown in with the wrong crowd - but then again the "handout" mentality has fully blossomed in this country - both rich and poor have been taken in by the power grab in Washington.

I have faith that the Republicans can go back to their roots and get back to being the true reform party, I think Jindal would be perfect with Steele as his running mate.
