NickF1011
5 awards for Ford. No other brand had more than 2. Well done!! :happy feet: Good to see Toyota taking up space in the basement.
FordBuyer
That's ironic that the Sport Trac won. Very ironic. Bye Bye "most appealing" Sport Trac as another Ford vehicle bites the dust. I'm surprised Mariner and Milan didn't win also. But then again, most appealing didn't translate into sales for Sport Trac even though it's an interesting vehicle with lots of uses. The Sport Trac is very popular in rural areas of MI...especially with women who own and show horses.

Unfortunately, that's just not very many people. I think most of them would be served just as well by a thoroughly updated 4-door Ranger. Mark8LSC CE0464
My wife and I love our Sport Trac, I'll be sad to see the nameplate retired. As stated above, it is quite functional and interesting versus your typical SUV.

There were rumblings that the "Sport Trac" badge would live on in the form of the 4-door next Ranger or F100, should the project still be a live at this point... If we get a T6 based ranger it will definitely offer a 4 door version. That's really all the sport trac was anyway - they just based it on the explorer chassis instead of the ranger chassis (which at one time were the same anyway). There isn't enough volume to justify a separate platform.

The Sport Trac was an absolutely perfect vehicle for a very limited group of people, crew cab half tons are much more versatile and have a broader range of customers. akirby
I still think the only question is what has to be changed to make the T6 viable for the U.S. market and where would it be built. It's a no brainer from a marketing/product standpoint.
wildosvt
We actually thought of getting a Sport Trac when we were looking for a new truck, The price for a ST that we liked was not far from the Raptors price. The Raptor won.
