ibinubu12
Link - Detroit Free Press From the article: How bad is it? A healthy level of car inventory is considered 60 days' worth, but many automakers have half that amount, especially of the most popular models. Ford has just 31 days of the Fiesta, the most-popular subcompact on the market last month.

630land
'12 Foci are hard to find and the high end SEL/Titanium models, which some scoffed at, are hot. So, the whiners saying "no one will pay over 20K for a Focus" were dead wrong. Also, all the excitement about the Titanium is proof that Mercury was not needed anymore. OTOH, for owners of 2008-11 models, the resale went up. :-) Revenge for all the trash talking. But, all Focuses since 2000 have much better resale than Contours, Escorts, and old body Tauruses. FordBuyer
Link - Detroit Free Press From the article: I'll vouch for the Fiesta. Ford dealer down street from me has two Fiestas on lot and maybe 6 Foci. Even has one 2011 Focus SES left. Bill Brown up Plymouth Rd., and one of highest volume Ford dealers in nation has only 6 Fiestas and not much more Foci. Pretty dismal inventory. On the other hand, Bill Brown still has hundreds of Fusions left in stock. And lots of Escapes. New Fiestas in stock is rare commodity. sranger
It just takes $4.00+ gas a little while to have a big effect on the market.....
