grbeck
I'm surprised someone approved the use of that name. But Dodge isn't alone in this regard...Toyota's use of "TRD" isn't too swift, either. If Chrysler is looking to the past for inspiration, then perhaps it can resurrect the "Dodge Rebellion" or "Dodge Fever" ad campaigns, complete with a 21st century version of Pam Austin or Joan Anita Parker. 6t5frlane
You guys must be too young to remember the Scat Pak cars in the late 60's early 70's. I think it's agreat idea. And the new " Shaker " edition as well. I saw a new Orange Challenger with the Shaker and black stripes. It looked awesome. Far better then the Camaro
grbeck
The cars aren't the problem; it's that the name has picked up some unfortunate connotations since that time.

92merc
Performance package will usually appeal to a younger person. If the younger person wasn't around to remember the name SCAT, then it's a worthless name. By using a name only an older generation knows, they're already limiting their market. Yeah Like Boos 302 (1969 ) Cobra Jet (1968) Mach One ,Track Pak etc. Yup Ford never uses those "old " names

J-150
These will look great in the showroom beside the Fiat 500 GUANO package.
RichardJensen
Pretty sure the Focus & Fiesta STs will wipe up Dodge Scat.
