Harley Lover
That's not a production Edge but rather the concept. I went back and edited the post, hopefully the new pic is a production model.

Hydro
I'm just so bummed the Edge sport doesn't have a trailer hitch option. I don't like the Limited chrome pieces. decisions decisions in two years

akirby
It doesn't? Not from the factory, but you can add one yourself. I like the Edge front end personally. To each his own.
jasonj80
It doesn't? No, can't get a Hitch or Heated Steering wheel on the Sport.
rmc523
I've never understood why the Sport models have random items missing that are available on other, lower trims.
akirby
I've never understood why the Sport models have random items missing that are available on other, lower trims. The previous gen used the same engine as the MKX, so I think they deleted HIDs (e.g.) as a way to differentiate the MKX from the Edge with the same engine. That's the only rationale that seems to make sense. The other possibility is weight reduction which can impact CAFE,

To make room for the Platinum Model in 2017, they can charge 50K for or because they want you to go to Lincoln and get an MKX.
rmc523
The Explorer Sport also had things like HID headlights unavailable, despite its higher than Limited pricetag (which received HIDs). But what do I know haha. Did the Edge Sport gain HIDs for the new model?

On the Chinese the light along the lower part of the headlamp assembly functions as the DRL similar to the Escape. I wonder if these will be added in future years.
