fordmantpw
All from just 3.5L of displacement. That's impressive! More torque and nearly double the HP over the 7.3L PowerStroke in the gen 1 Super Duty back in the '99 MY. Wow!
jpd80
Wow, that's impressive... no it's magnificent and kind of dispels the need for a TT V8 truck. ...and GM better look out if Ford ever considers this engine and trans for Mustang.... (I hope that day is coming soon..) Edited September 13, 2016 by jpd80
tbone
If I care to guess, i'm going say these numbers are correct. They are consistent with information that has been leaked/communicated previously. However, I wouldn't mind being wrong and the numbers are higher;)

tbone
It does appear that it shouldn't be that difficult to extract more power out of this engine.
30 OTT 6
All from just 3.5L of displacement. The effective displacement is way more than 3.5L when the turbos are at full boost.
fordmantpw
The effective displacement is way more than 3.5L when the turbos are at full boost. Yes, I know that, but the physical displacement of the engine is 3.5L. If the turbos push ~14 PSI, then the effective displacement is 7.0L. (I hope that day is coming soon..) if that were to go in the mustang,it should be called by its old name,SVO.that would mean the basic mustang gt v8 would have to start off at 550hp.that sounds good to me. :happy feet:

Hey, I can dream.. Edited September 17, 2016 by jpd80
