 Thanks, that fits in that I was able to find interior specs on Edmunds, (as Fordbuyer noted) the non hybrid has ~5 more cubic feet of overall interior room (65.4 vs. 60.8 cu. ft. of overall interior room) than the hybrid. The site shows the same overall interior space for hybrid vs. PHEV, so the larger PHEV battery would have to be given adequate accommodations to not take up more interior space than the hybrid.

If you google Escape hybrid battery and PHEV battery and look at photos, you’ll get an idea of the difference in size of the two and how they load…
