2024 Mustang Lineup Gets Deferred Payment Deal

Following its debut last September, eager pony car fans have been waiting for actual deliveries of the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang to begin, a process that is underway following a temporary production pause while The Blue Oval sorted out some quality issues discovered early in the process. However, while one may not expect that the S650-gen model would be eligible for any sort of incentives, customers can in fact take advantage of a new deferred payment deal on the entire 2024 Ford Mustang lineup, according to a bulletin recently seen by CarsDirect.

Now through October 2nd, the entire 2024 Ford Mustang lineup – including the EcoBoost, GT, and even the Dark Horse – is eligible for a no payment for 90 days deal, so long as customers finance their vehicle through Ford Credit. However, as one might imagine, there is another caveat worth noting – only buyers that finance with standard rates are eligible for the payment deferral, though in this case, that isn’t a huge concern as the 2024 Mustang didn’t launch with any special APR deals.

Regardless, it’s still notable that the 2024 Ford Mustang can be had with any kind of incentive at all, given the fact that this represents its first model year of production as an entirely new, redesigned vehicle that’s facing strong demand. However, the 2024 Mustang isn’t eligible for a special pre-order discount that many other 2024 model year Blue Oval vehicles are, and both the GT and Dark Horse are excluded from any lease deals, too.

Maybe its an expectation that interest rates will get better?

Normally when you finance through Ford you get the incentives, but have to make 3-4 months worth of payments before transferring it to a new lender.

Actually you don’t have to wait.  But the dealer may lose their spiff from Ford credit.

Didn’t the Fed do a rate hike again today?

However I already have Ford 2015 Mustang, but the new one looks awesome. Currently thinking of selling the old one and buying this. I'll probably wait a year to see if this model will be worth the money, because something new is not always better than the old.
