  1. It's starting to make more sense after reading this. Fain is a Total Commie!!
  2. This article talks about who is really pulling the strings. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12654885/uaw-strikes-socialist-activists-shawn-fain.html
  3. Build and price goes live on May 31st even though the order bank opens on may 26th.

I understand how it works and obviously Ford must know that too or else it wouldn't have other options for adjustability . If it is so great then why isn't Auto the only choice? It may work well for you where you live and that's great. I think the point of the original post is that there are too many sub screens to go though for adjustably.

You must not live in Michigan ? last week we had temperatures in the 80's and it snowed here on Monday. We can have a large swing between our low temperatures and high temperatures in a single day in the spring and fall.

I agree with Rifle on this one. There are too many sub screens to have to go into just to adjust the fan/temp... Auto doesn't know if there is ice on my windshield or that I just pulled up to a drive thru speaker to order something and the fan noise is too loud to hear the person taking the order... There are always going to be situations when you want to quickly adjust something without having to go into sub screens. Redundant buttons like the F-Series is much more user friendly and much safer if you need to do it while driving in traffic. Traction control off button while not in the Sync screens is another function that should not be in a sub screen. Have you ever been in the middle of an intersection waiting to make a left hand turn on a snowy day only to find out your car wont move without turning off the traction control that's buried in a vehicle settings screen. It's not a fun experience.
  7. If the they have vehicles that were ordered for a specific business like a plumbing company that buys several vehicles per year just not at once or a fleet order or Government agency that takes them throughout the year... There is no need to display them if there already spoken for. It just makes it easier not to have to explain to people that they can't buy them.
  8. For your information. The dealer would have offered you a choice on how to pay for your vehicle. You could have paid cash or financed it through your own source or used Ford Motor Credit through the dealership. Sometimes Ford will give you an extra rebate if you go through Ford Motor Credit. Some cash buyers would rather not deal with the hassle of writing a check to payoff the loan after they get their first payment notice and that's fine. Others see the value of financing how ever much they want in order to get $500 or $1,000 FMCC bonus cash and paying it off right away. It's not the dealers rebate. It's Ford and Ford Credit that know some people will change their minds and keep the loan for a while so Ford Credit can make the interest. You seem to have a problem with a dealer making a penny of profit from you.
  9. You forgot to mention that the customer will probably burn you on their QC survey because they don't like the fact that they can't buy directly from the manufacturer and has to deal with a human being that is just trying to make a living.
  10. I get that. I just thought that someone would like to know the numbers.
  11. The number 1 Ford dealer in the country for the 2nd year in a row was Brandon Ford of Tampa. They won by 289 units this year.
  12. In conceps you add 92H "Metric speedometer" on some of the vehicle lines. On a Mustang you need to add 153 which is a fleet only option. If you are in a state that does not need California emissions add 422 on F-150, Flex, and Explorer. Edge requires you to delete 425 and add 422 at the same time. I am not sure what you do if you are in a state that requires Cal emissions. There is no way to dirty an order in WBDO.
  13. How about the fact that David Champion just left CR to work for Nissan.
  14. I cant speak as to the reason why Ford doesn't open it up to more people, maybee it would be too large to manage. You keep missing the point that the eligible Lessee's PAYs for the car every month. I don't work for Ford but these bennifits have been in place a long time and I feel the employees that earned it deserve it. Again I have been told by a reliable source that the program turns a profit. I'll admit I'm wrong when you can prove it doesn't. It is obvious that you must be jealous of those people for some reason. Happy Hollidays!
  15. How would it be a potential cost savings when the company turns a profit on the program? As far as doing nothing, the employee excelled to a level of management though years of hard work for a "perk" that he or she pays for every month. I'm sorry you didn't reach that level during your career.
  16. The Lessee's "pay" for these lease cars and it does include unlimited mileage and insurance and in some cases at a discount when it is a new vehicle launch, but it is considered an evaluation program. Sometimes they get the early builds that the company would not the public to get due to quality concerns that have to be retro-fitted and so on. Not everyone gets lease cars "forever". If the Executive was high enough up when they retired they may only get one instead of 2 while they were working. Remember it is their company's product that they are evaluating and letting their friends drive which hopefully brings new sales to Ford. I know someone that is in the loop regarding the Management Lease Program and Ford Motor Company actually turns a profit on the program.
  17. I saw one the other day driving around Dearborn. It is closer to Grabber Green than Legend Lime. It is a bright flashy color to say the least.
  18. The guy on the other side taking a picture with the camo off has the money shot!
  19. I think you two are talking about 2 different Auto Shows. I believe Dean is refering to the Dealer intro show and FORDBUYER is refering to the NAIAS.
  20. 2012 Red Candy SHO's are already on Dealers lots.
  21. Ford tells the Dealers each week when it is time to order inventory, how many of each engine they can order. This year it has been a "Must use do not exceed" number. This means that Ford is determining the % of which engines are being sold.
