  1. This isnt the worst Toyota design Ive seen. I think it actually has a bit of Jeep in it, perhaps some Compass. As others have said, it will sell because its a Toyota.
  2. Fantastic job Lincoln, I really dont have any complaints about anything upon this first impression!
  3. According to the video, very hard to clean too ?
  4. Its funny how people have different perceptions, as I prefer the black trim versus the chrome and I dont think it gives it a down market feel.
  5. I actually dont think they were offered simultaneously. I believe the 6.2 was a direct replacement for the 5.4. The 6.2 was not quite ready when the Raptor was released so they had to use the 5.4 during the first year.
  6. To a person who is into that it will matter, but for those who are not into hybrids it wont. I get your point though.
  7. This could be a possibility. Another expensive option.
  8. This will really irritate me if true, as I would have preferred the V8 over the V6. With that said, im not convinced this is true. The last gen Raptors body never changed over the course of its life. Id be surprised if they were to update the current body only after two years of production. Time will tell I guess.
  9. Well considering it appears the car will be around for a while it could use an improvement in gas mileage so perhaps it would be worth that investment.
  10. Sorry Im late to the party on this old thread. But I agree with you on that chrome strip. I really disliked it when they added that. I also wanted to say the mesh grill actually gives the car the appearance the front end actually changed. When I first saw the pic of the blue Fusion I thought they had done a more thorough overhaul. I think they should have made that the standard grill. Overall, Im surprised they are actually sinking some money into the Fusion as it was looking like they were just going to let it die. However Im still perplexed why they arent throwing the 8speed in there to improve performance. That makes no sense.
  11. Perhaps Continental will become a sportback sedan and they will use suicide doors to blend the rear doors into the body more.
  12. Just find a dealer as mentioned above and have it shipped. Even sipping for $1k, you are money ahead.
  13. You can buy a fully loaded $70k Raptor from my local dealer for $67300 or buy one for a similar price from the dealer I bought mine from. You just need to find dealers that arent trying to rape you.
  14. I finally saw some EcoSports in person at the local dealer. I didnt think it looked too bad, and was a little bigger in person than I thought they would be. One was an SEL and one was a Titanium. I was taken aback a little on the price as each was just shy of $30k. That seems like a lot of money for a vehicle that small but it isnt the type of vehicle I would buy either.
  15. I totally agree on this. I ride motocross and use my truck to haul my bike around. I watch Supercross every week and it pains me to see Toyota as the title sponsor. Its also unfortunate that Ford hasnt recognized this market more because the vast majority of dirtbike riders, quads, UTVs, sand rails, etc. own trucks, and there are hundreds of thousands out there. I hope that changes because it seems like a good opportunity to me.
  16. Congrats on the new ride. Looks good!
  17. Then it will be a self fulfilling prophecy because people wont be interested in a car that has hardly changed since 2013. There is very little incentive to by a new one. Such a damn shame since they finally had a competitive product.
  18. I actually kind of like Konik. It has a nice ring to it for a small Ute.
  19. Agreed, I think its time for some new names in an attempt to look toward the future.
  20. I dont disagree. It is a very sleek design.
  21. I read that and thought the same. Im worried the vehicle wont be open top capable in some form or another like a Wrangler. If it ends up like a FJ Cruiser, no thanks.
  22. Are you serious? Why do you think that would be useful since it doesnt drop down at all? Pay extra for the Ford tailgate step. You wont regret it.
