  1. Good to hear that the Expy will be production. Can't wait to see it. Actually meant Troller = Wrangler. On the Lincoln nose I would not be surprised if the two CUVs come out this year though as I remember them launching the MKZ after showing it on the Continental. Considering the strength of the market for these types of vehicles they could move to capitalized. Who knows though?
  2. My guess: - Production Navigator - MCE Mustang - Expedition Concept - Ecosport - Ranger or Bronco concept - F150 Diesel - Maybe a North American interpretation of the Troller from Brazil (competition for the Cherokee) - Lincoln MKX and MKC with the new Lincoln front fascia - A Ford surprise
  3. It would be nice to see a Mercury version of a 2 door sport coupe with a hatch similar to the Probe or Toyata Celica. Single women seemed t like those cars and it would be something that would fill the gap for those that don't want a Mustang but would consider a sports car from Ford. I happen to know three people like that - they would buy a Ford product if something like that is offered. Then again, they may be the only people in the world that would want producs similar to these from Ford.

  5. Pump and dump still lives. Note his target was $9.00. By the way, look how massively these "Analysts" have missed things in the last few years. As long as they make their buck they don't care who they hurt. Shorting the stock will not be as easy as in the past.
  6. Just wondering now much his discussions with GM has to do with him initiating these claims.
  7. I have an MKS and love and I am under 50. I can't count the number of teenagers mostly girls that have come up to and say, "sir, nice car". All my friends that I hang out with are under fifty and love the car. So, I am not sure who he is speaking for. Of course these are anecdotal and I have not even mentioned the number of thums up I get. He just needs to back this up with data or actually look at the demographic that currently drives these cars and get their opinions rather than make things up. I went to Miami to car wash and th owner got his wife on the phone because now he wants to trade in his Lexus for one of these. Heis under 50. I have many more stories and can speak from what I have actually experienced.
  8. Ordered same today too, Tuxedo Black with everything possible on it.
  9. I will never go without Sync again. Had it in two different vehicles and just love it. Still have not read much of the instructions except how to pair up the phone. My iPod works flawlessly too.
  10. Had 2 LS both V8s and curenly drive an MKS. The MKS does not even come close to the LS in terms of ride, drive and sound. Sorry to say. If the MKS drove anything like an LS it would be a huge hit.
  11. Mercury will be getting a version of most of the C size cars from Europe and they are not ready for shwing yet. They still have couple of big shows coming up, including Chicago and New York. They tend to do a lot of Mercury stuff in Chicago and don't be surprised if the 2010 Edge and MKX are not revealed in New York. By the way, there are no Ford concepts at NAIAS either.
  12. More from NYT http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2009/01...hrun.ready.html
  13. Wasn't the AFA boycott of Ford huge in Nebraska? By the way, many of these dealers wen to the big banks chasing .5% lower wholesale rates and a few incentives. The profits the banks make goes to the bank to be distributed to thei shareholders, If they use Ford Motor Credit, the profits go back to Ford to invest in new vehicles. What typically happens when things get tough, the banks pull thi credit line and leave the deales hanging and when they try to come back to Ford Credit, their financial situation is so poor they get turned away. Most dealers that stick with Ford Motor Credit will not get turned away that easy because that is their only source of business and they usually get help in tough times, not sent away. It is always harder to take someone back that left you in good times. Definitely need to check this person's story out as there is usually a lot more to it.
  14. There are only so many car companies, why just not be direct and ask them one at a time what there contributions were for 9-11? Doing web resaerch and googling will just pick up info from all the rumours that are posted out there anyway. I did not see any of these companies standing up and denying not making any significant contribution or clarifyinf anything that was incorrectly published. Better yet, go back to the last thirty years and research, not web search, which car companies contribute the most to charitable causes in America.
  15. Production versions of: 2010 Taurus 2010 Lincoln MKT 2010 Mustang GT500
  16. The supply of batteries. Mostly sourced from Asia.
  17. That is a fact and they are really close to accomplishing that. Don't know if was a good idea to tip their hand to Toota though. A surprise similar to the Fusion would have been great. Of course, it may make potential buyers who want to buy American buy are concerned about fuel consumption wait for the Explorer.
