Toyota has a great hybrid portfolio....Ford is fair in their hybrid offerings. Don't get me wrong, a Ford hybrid is a damn fine choice....but Toyota offers more models that are hybrid.

I am sure a modern I-6 will fit in Ford F-Series just fine as well as Expedition and Navigator....Explorer and Aviator would need some massaging of CD6 front structure.

I like to think that when it reads, "medium truck will continue" means that Ford intends to stay in that market and not abandon it like they did with Class 8.

The E-550 can be marketed as a formidable competitor to Hino and Isuzu in the LCF market and massaged up to an E-600 for further market competition.

The LCF would have done much better had it been given a proper motor instead of a crappy powerstroke with two cylinders chopped off.

The fact that the motor never had a problem IS something to write home about.

Any future decisions based on what is best for the Company needs to include their best asset...the line workers. People want to blame poor quality on the workers when if there is a quality issue, it is due to poor or inadequate design, not the men and women that put those designs together. A prime example is the 1.5L Ecoboost with coolant intrusion into the cylinders....is it the guy that built the motor or the designer that created it?

The entire process is being negotiated in the press which is a huge mistake.
