2017 Chrysler Town &....errr Pacifica Debuts

It might just be the market difference. Here in the Maritimes, it seems Grand Caravan are everywhere but T&C are pretty rare. -
2017 Chrysler Town &....errr Pacifica Debuts

That's a good looking minivan. I'm surprised at the name change too. I still think it's stupid to dump the Grand Caravan. -
I thought the black panel was an option? Maybe it is packaged with the bed side graphic.

Thanks, I love this truck. Such an upgrade from the last F150 I drove on a daily basis (my dad's 2008 Lariat).
-
Traded my '13 Mustang GT on a new '15 Lariat 5.0 last weekend. Love the truck, love the features, love the interior! The dealership installed a 2.5'' leveling kit and BFG KO2s on it.

2017 Lincoln MKZ Debuts with 400-hp 3.0EB V6
92LX302 replied to rmc523's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
Anyone notice how there is no reference to the Ecoboost name? Even on Lincoln's website, they call it a 3.0 GTDI engine. Nice update, brings an Americanized Audi vibe to it. 400/400 AWD should be fun too, especially after a tune... -

Time to buy that new Ford
92LX302 replied to mackinaw's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
I kinda hope we see something similar in Canada... I'm hoping to order a new Mustang GT in late December or early January. -
Yup, no more V8 AWD available since the last refresh.

First Test: 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS [MotorTrend]
92LX302 replied to jpd80's topic in Competing Products
I ran 12.4 @ 119 MPH in my automatic '13 GT with long tube headers and a tune. Stock 3.15 gears, 245 All Season Tire & full weight (fully equiped Premium model with the glass roof). And that was without even trying, I'm no drag racer I just went to a Test & Tune night for fun. -
I love my '13 Interceptor at works. We don't have the Ecoboost one. They're solid car and they are planted to the road. We don't have much issues with them (but mine is currently in the shop to replace a craqued exhaust manifold). I drive our last Crown Vic meanwhile. They have that old school 'cruising' around feeling of a classic car, but they're slow and pigs on gas compared to a Taurus. And being in rural Nova Scotia, if I have to respond to a light and sirens, high emergency call, I've got way more confidence in the AWD Taurus to carve along our twisty, badly damaged coastal Highways. Plus, it should start snowing in the next few weeks up here; that's where the new Interceptors really shines.

The new Bronco/Ranger/MAP thread

I'm surprised they didn't call the the Fiat 500T or something along those lines... -
What I like about having a physical keyboard is I can run a plate without the radio by just typing it on the keyboard by only looking at it once or twice to locate my fingers on the keyboard. Plus, if I want to work on my files without seating at my desk at the office, I can just park somewhere where I can make a presence (school zone, area of common complaints) and bring the laptop mount closer to me so I'm not typing in an awkard position. I'm not sure what to think about this system. But I after the trouble we had with the Chargers when we tried them for a short period between the Crown Victoria and the Taurus, I guess I'll never get to try this new system at work.

10 Speed Automatic + DI should help the Mustang

We still have one left here (2011). Our fleet consist of that Crown Vic, 2x 2013 Taurus, a 2015 Taurus and 2x 2013 Tahoe (2WD & 4WD). The Crown Vic has been a POS in the last few months, with transmission and electrical issues. It is currently in the shop to get an exhaust manifold replaced. The Taurus are pretty bullet proof save for the rear control arms bushings. One of them got a weird issue: if you turn on the wiper they'll never turn off again until you shut the car off. Funny enough, the older Crown Vic has less mileage (around 115 000 kms) than the 2x 2013 Taurus (120 000 kms & 125 000 kms).

Ranger, and Bronco, going to MAP?
92LX302 replied to mackinaw's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
I'd love to see a new Ranger. I traded my 2011 on a '14 Wrangler Sport last year (ugh). 8 months later I traded the Wrangler on a '13 Mustang GT + a winter beater. I'd buy a new Ranger in a heartbeat again to replace the beater in 2-3 years. -

Getting dad's Corvette back on the road...

Awesome project! Here's a great how-to to bring back life to old single stage paint. Worked amazingly on my '92, supposed to work even better on older paint: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/25304-secret-removing-oxidation-restoring-show-car-finish-antique-single-stage-paints-15.html -

I had a friend who ran low thirteen with a crewcab LWB FX4 with 35'' tires. That thing hauled ass. -
2013 cop truck. ...car sales .

RCMP all went with Taurus around here. Seems logical, as it is AWD. I think the Caprice is not offered in Canada too. -
An engineer said during the 50th Anniv. Celebrations last week that we should see them in 3 to 4 weeks.
