    Technically it’s a different engine than the old one that had known issues. I haven’t heard of many issues with the new 3cyl version.

    Until you try to add any desirable features. I built and priced one once, as soon as you did you were forced to upgrade to the 2.7.

    No different than the V6 Bronco and I haven’t heard anyone complain too much about that.

    This epitomizes everything I hate about appearance packages. Charge a butt ton of money for no useful return on that extra cost. At least with the Ranger black appearance package (at least with the pre-2024 one) it came with a spray in bedliner which is an actual useful addition.

    Im not arguing what he said, my issue is how brazen he was about it. Like a previous poster said, it’s one thing to respect the competition and give them credit where credit is due, it’s another to talk up their product like it’s one of your own and I feel like that’s what Farley did here.

    I wish I could share my true opinion on this. I’ll say this, there’s plenty to improve on when it comes to the current Escape. I’ll just leave it at that.

    They have a perfectly good plant in Canada. That already built it. Not that long ago.

    I don’t want to say any more beyond I’ve heard rumors. The only reason I mentioned the flat rock thing to begin with was because it’s publicly available information that was shared in the 2023 UAW agreement. If/when the company is ready to announce something I’ll comment further.
