  1. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a43555956/2026-ford-mustang-raptor/ gotta say I thought this was an old April fools story, but multiple sites are reporting it. Sounds pretty cool though.
  2. If I’m reading that right, it looks like the 48” screen is standard. Digital scent is an odd option. Is that something Lincoln has offered before? Also 28 speakers is crazy lol
  3. reminds me a bit of the ford airstream concept but with a truck bed.
  4. It could just be the angle of this pic, but the screen looks like it could impact visibility here. If visibility isn’t an issue, then I really like this design. It should be easier to find the info you need, and you won’t have to take your eyes off the road for as long.
  5. FYI I have been getting this error quite often over the past week or so.

  7. Especially if everything is supposed to be ev’s in a couple of years. Why break them out when they are just going to come back together?
  8. I hate to see how long it takes to charge it. They also mentioned an even longer range battery in the article but have no details about it.
  9. I think it actually looks better, and the addition of the larger screen makes the interior look 10x better even though not much else changed.

  11. Ford came out and said they were still going to include Apple CarPlay/android auto (for now at least). Hopefully other automakers follow.
  12. Range is pretty good. Two battery options, first with 350 miles and the second with 500. If this is true, that’s pretty impressive. The lightning has a range of 230-320 miles depending on configuration. Silverado EV will have up to 400 miles. Bunch of other details in the article too https://www.motor1.com/news/660742/2025-ram-1500-rev-range-and-specs/
  13. I’m all for a futuristic design as long as it doesn’t have the slanted rear of the cab like the gm ev trucks have.
  14. https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/threads/ford-ranger-stormtrak-debuts-in-thailand.7301/ New Ranger stormtrak model for Thailand. Seems to be an appearance package that looks like the wildtrak x without the off-road goodies. I think something like this would do well here.
  15. might be worth checking out RTR and seeing if they are doing anything with the 2024. It’d probably share a lot of parts with the bronco. the current gen rtr ranger looks pretty good too.
  16. I noticed the other day that the price of the MIC top had drastically increased from $695 to $1895 which got me thinking about the MOD top. Has there been any announcement when we can expect these to be an option? Originally it was supposed to come out when the bronco was released, and then pushed back to the 2023 model. I guess this technically happened since you can get a white one on the heritage models, but it’s still unavailable on all the other trims. After the bronco being available for 3 model years plus all of the development time before hand, you would expect the mod tip to be ready by now. Did the roof manufacturers have to switch all of their resources over to the mic top to fix that debacle? Id order a heritage edition today if it was offered in a black version (like all the spy pics) just so I could get the mod top. It’s also an exceptional value compared to the other trims and cheaper than a comparable big bend with a mic top.
  17. we know the explorer ev is pretty small. You could probably call it a hatchback if you really wanted to. The capri (on the right) appears to be even smaller and is described as a sporty coupe like crossover. Why don’t we call it what it really is….a sedan ???
  18. 2030 is not that far away. I’d be surprised if 25% of new vehicles were EVs by then. In 2022, EVs made up 5.8% of the market in the US. For EVs to be the dominant vehicle type, I believe several things need to happen 1. manufacturers need to ramp up production. Tesla was 64% of the ev market. Even though ford has some of the top ev models, they still only produce a couple thousand of each per month. 2. supply constraints need to be resolved 3. prices need to come down. The average price of an EV was $61k 4. charging times need to decrease 5. Expanded charging infrastructure
  19. https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/threads/ford-launches-ranger-wildtrak-x-and-tremor-models-for-europe-with-new-features-styling.7291/ lots of pics of the wildtrak x and tremor models at the link. I wonder how or if these will carry over to the USA? As I mentioned previously, I could see this wildtrak x being the US tremor, but I also think this tremor would make a great rattler too.
  20. I agree on the price. This seems to be a competitor to the Chevy bolt euv, which starts at 27k. The explorer ev is obviously better looking then the bolt, is slightly larger, and has better range, so a starting price in the 30-35k would seem reasonable.
  21. I think I actually prefer the EV5 concept they showed the other day.
  22. https://fordauthority.com/2023/03/all-new-ford-explorer-will-not-be-sold-alongside-sibling/ guess they won’t have to worry about the names being confusing anymore.
  23. https://fordauthority.com/2023/03/ford-ranger-wildtrak-x-debuts-as-less-intense-raptor/ This wildtrak x seems very similar to a tremor. Even uses the same orange trim. Could this be rebadged as a tremor in the US?
  24. There’s just no way that happens. The last world wide ford sales I could find were 4 million in 2021. So ford thinks half of all their sales will be EVs in just 3 years (2mil by 2026)? For reference Tesla sold just under a million worldwide in 2021. I’d be surprised if all of ford’s EV sales from now until 2030 reach one million. hopefully I’m wrong. I know it’s production capacity, but why rush the capacity if you aren’t planning to use it.
