  1. Unpopular opinion. I honestly don’t mind it. Seeing it next to the old one shows how cold and industrial it used to be. Not a bad move for a different era.
  2. I just realized (duh) that the Ranger render has vents behind the fender. Is it a Ranger Raptor render? If so, the regular Ranger model may not have those big boxy fender flares (ie: look more like the fenders on the current Ranger) and make the entire design look even more like the Maverick than we initially thought.
  3. ...or they will share similar design cues....the wheel wells / fender flares dont look the same as the design render so maybe the render is the Ranger as well. PS: That is one UGLY grille unless it is missing an insert. The fenders on the Maverick spyshot look just like the current Ranger's but has a non-clamshell hood much like the next-gen Ranger render above.
  4. Guess those renders last year were not the next Ranger but instead the Maverick.
  5. Grand Wagoneer is BOF (Ram based as noted earlier). Grand Cherokee is unibody.
  6. That thing is good looking. Immediately recognizable as a Grand Cherokee, but obviously all new too. Nice evolution of the design.
  7. The 2.0 Turbo in my wife's Edge is adequate. It is smooth, not particularly powerful, but adequate. It is not really comparable to the 2.3, which in comparison to the 2.0, is a torque monster. My Ranger feels a lot faster than the Edge, especially down low.
  8. It got sold at the same dealer. They listed it at $8.5k and it sold. I found out when I got my warranty reimbursed and verified it with a VIN check (my original sale in 2015 and the listing from the same dealer in 2019):
  9. Yeah, I traded in my 2014 when I got my Ranger and only got $4k for it. Mine was an SE hatchback but had leather heated seats and the upgraded 17" wheels. Had ~ 60k miles and was in great condition, but did have a minor accident on the CarFax.. I couldn't in good conscience sell it to someone with that transmission. I figured if it was sold via a dealership, the buyer would at least have the option of a warranty.
  10. Nah, SCrew Ranger is 5 feet. This is not nearly as long as the Ranger.
  11. Looks good. More truckish styled than I expected, which is a good thing.
  12. Thanks so much for this! PS: How to correct a #DIV/0! error (you can add to your formula to suppress that error)
  13. For only being a bumper cover it improves the look 100%. I hated that half bumper being swallowed by a half fascia look the overseas Rangers had. At least the new front end picked one and went with it.

  15. Ford has a lot of brand equity with EcoBoost. I think any turbo engine they produce will keep that moniker.
  16. I think it looks great. I actually like the C-pillar treatment. Has a Porsche-like feel from the rear. My guess is that it is controlled by the knobs in the center console. I don't think that's a touchscreen.
  17. Our family uses it a lot. Not quite as much as the radio controls, but definitely use it. YMMV
  18. Yeah, don't like that at all. I can guarantee my wife will not go for that for the new lease. Which may point her to the Nautilus since judging by the spy pics in this thread, it retains the physical HVAC controls.
  19. Not sure I like that ALL the HVAC buttons have been relegated to the touchscreen (except for max defrost(??)
