  1. Mine went into “deep sleep” today after driving for 7 hours hauling our travel trailer. I simply logged out of the app, signed back in and all functionality returned, as it has done every time my truck or Escape has gone into deep sleep mode. There may be a different issue for the newest trucks coming off the line, but this works for me as it has ever since my truck was new a few months ago and the issue first popped up.
  2. I use my Sirius subscription for those things. It gives me location based weather, fuel prices and location, traffic routing and more. Why pay for a connected subscription? We use RV Life Pro trip wizard to plan our routes and provide navigation specific to our truck/trailer set-up. It adds other features too and so far we have not ripped anything off the roof of our travel trailer yet.
  3. 5-10 deep sleeps in a day is not what I was experiencing when I solved my issue by resetting the app. From what I gather here, there is a new issue that appears a truck issue not an app issue and Ford has identified and is working to implement a fix. This sounds like what you have
  4. I have had it happen a couple of times, both with my truck and 2020 Escape. In my case, I found it was an app issue. Signing out and then logging back in fixes it every time it happens. It seems to be an issue where the app doesn’t communicate with the truck, and this corrects the issue for me when it happens.
  5. I just put the setting on “Ask on Exit” and can choose all sensors or perimeter only when I get out.
  6. You’ll have it quicker than that! Mine was 13 days from built to arrival at dealer (10 days from shipped to delivered). Good luck and congratulations on your soon to be new truck!
  7. We now have 3,700 miles on ours and our lifetime average is 14.8 mpg with a mix of local, highway and 30’ camper towing. If not for the towing (average is 8.8 mpg) the overall mileage could be higher because we are seeing unloaded highway mileage at 17.1 mpg. We are headed out this weekend for a 3 week trip with the camper which should rack up close to 5,000 more miles by the time we get home so I will post mileage figures from that trip when I can
  8. I have an F250 XLT with the 7.3 L gas and snow plow prep and my front axle rating is 5,600 lbs.
  9. How did you place an order 2 1/2 weeks into the future?
  10. My friend had a scheduled build week for the week of June 6th (this week) and his sticker showed up last Thursday June 2nd, with the tracker currently showing “In Production”. Start looking for your sticker towards the end of this week!
  11. I know it happens, mine was built 3/22, shipped 3/25 by rail and at my dealer 4/4. But I have helped a number of people on here track their deliveries and trucking delays from the rail ramp to the dealers have been taking weeks, not days. My only real point was that it got there unusually quick and was unusually sold with a green window sticker, so has anyone tracked it and checked to be sure it was actually sold? Lastly, given all the factors in play, I find it difficult to believe it was sold by accident. I suspect the dealer knew exactly what they were doing, had a customer willing to pay a premium for that truck and/or there is a relationship between that buyer and the dealer, and the dealer also knew that there would be no repercussions by selling that truck that they knew was committed to the one that actually ordered it and didn’t give a damn.
  12. I was under the impression that retail orders had a green window sticker with Special Order on it instead of the typical blue window sticker, and unless you are really close to the factory, how did it get there so quick? Every day we hear about people waiting 3, 4, snd even 5 weeks for delivery. Are you 100% sure it was actually delivered and sold?
  13. Don’t read too much into it. Although we all want it to work on-demand, and all the time, this tool of convenience goes in and out of service frequently.
  14. Actually, until you pay for the truck and take physical possession, you haven’t bought anything……It belongs to Ford and/or the dealership.
  15. The point is that the parts are not available, and no amount of complaining is going to magically fix that (it isn’t due to a microchip shortage). The seat issue affects all models that the seat was available in, and none are getting made with those seats. I wanted features in my truck that were not available, or became unavailable at some point in the process. I didn’t whine about it, I found solutions, and I am satisfied.
  16. The same seat, they just don’t include the bladders. The credit for $300 is the same amount that the parts cost.
  17. So you are the guy that goes to a fine restaurant, orders filet mignon and the waiter comes back out 5 minutes later and says “sorry, we have run out of filet mignon, may I offer you a Porterhouse instead?”. You indignantly stand up, throw down your napkin, and walk out the door vowing to never dine there again because they “arbitrarily” decided they had run out of filet mignon and were not able to serve you something they don’t have. You go to the next best place, but it is just the next best place, and dang it, they don’t even have filet mignon on the menu so you order the Porterhouse. All the while trying to convince yourself that it is just a matter of principal. If the lack of a massaging seat bothers you that much, cancel your order and take your $500 deposit and go buy a Chevy 1500?
  18. Seriously, throwing a fit because you can’t get a butt massager? Sounds like a first-world problem to me. The only items GM is retrofitting are heated rear seats, heated steering wheels, and parking assist features (all of which are available on a Ford). They don’t even offer massaging seats in the HD trucks at GM. What about all the features that GM eliminated and won’t be retrofitting? Cylinder cutoff, auto start/stop (good riddance), HD radio, wireless charging pads, and more. My brother has had his 3500 HD Denali Crew Cab on order since November and hasn’t received a build date yet. It isn’t a Ford issue, it is an all manufacturer issue. Maybe you could try Toyota and see if they have butt massagers?
  19. This is a VERY common issue and it really has nothing to do with Ford and it is not at all limited to TX. These rail facilities serve multiple vehicle manufacturers, and right now there are more vehicles to be transported than there are trucks or drivers to move them. Factor in a long bed crew cab or a dually, and the wait is even longer. I have seen some people waiting 3-4 weeks from rail yard to dealer.
  20. Hey, I just saw that your truck was delivered to the dealership this morning, CONGRATULATIONS!
  21. Check the specs, your driver seat is probably a 10-way and the passenger may be an 8-way.
  22. I wouldn't worry until you get the window sticker. The pictures are stock images that are one-size-fits-most, they are not 100% accurate. My friend's truck lists Tremor options on his and he didn't order a tremor
  23. I had a 2020 Escape that had no CD player either, they started phasing them out around 2019 I believe. My Explorer Limited had a 5 or 6 disc CD player that I never used because years ago I just copied all of my CD's into iTunes and loaded them on my phone (last time I checked it was 1,485 songs) but even then, I find myself listening to Pandora or Sirius/XM anyway. Just think of all that space you will gain by not having stacks of CD's kicking around in the truck
  24. My friend just got the coveted email this morning! Ordered January 24th and Scheduled to be built the week of June 6th. It is an F250 XLT 6.7L Diesel Crew Cab Short Bed. No major constraints, but does have Twin Panel Moon Roof, Spray-in bed liner, front and rear wheel well liners and splash guards.
  25. I get that the OP was just illustrating an interesting point, it is really an unprecedented situation that is worth noting. When we were looking for our truck, it was crazy how the pre-owned prices were at or above costs for new, so we bought new…a pretty simple choice for us. We traded our F150 in for more than what we bought it for 3 years and 35,000 miles ago.
