How this Presidential Election WILL affect the UAW or any Union.

Here is a link for the democrats. Thanks to listening to Bob Dutko today I came across this website. This is a link to the socialist party, aka. communist party. Doesn't this sound exactly like the democratic party?

http://www.sp-usa.org

He also made a good point saying today, that the old school democrats used phrases like "It's not what you country can do for you, but what can you do for your country"

Now it's what can my government do for me. Think about it.

Fascism(A political philosophy, movement,or regime that exalts nation and often race and stands for centralized autocratic often militaristic government).Sounds like the America I am living in right now.And which political party brought this to America? Many nations have safety nets for their people such as socialized healthcare.I guess you should not use the highways, air travel(air traffic controllers) , social security, unemployent, police, firemen, school teachers, food inspectors.Should I continue?Just what is it with you republicans being against anything that is for the common good of all people? Most European nations have socialistic policies and their people are doing just fine. They have longer lifespans and better standards of living.Just what is it that fills you republicans up with such a

lack of empathy for the poor and the sick?

As for universal healthcare, that is a joke! Do your research and find out how well it's doing in Canada. Try waiting 9 months for an MRI.

And actually it's been the democrats bringing in the socialist movement. It's the liberal judges, don't blame it on Bush.

Are you affiliated with the union? You do realize that a union is a socialist organization, don't you?

BTW, what exactly has the Republican party done for you that makes them so great? Mind you, I am not defending the Democrats here, I just think they have the better of the two candidates this election. I am not blindly voting for Obama because he is Democrat, I researched his platform. Unfortunately for the Republican candidate, he is saddled with 8 years of Bush. He was in a position to do something, yet he chose not to. Now he tries to say he is all about change, yet the support he has shown Bush has proven otherwise.

Now if you think things are grand under Bush, then I can understand your support for McCain. If you don't like Bush, but are still supporting McCain, that makes no sense. Argue you all you want that he is a "maverick", yet the past 8 years have proven his is a tried and true Republican (Bush).

Typical fear mongoring. "It doesn't work in Canada, so we won't do it!" How about tailoring a system that will work in the US? Just because the models that are currently in place in other countries may not work here does not mean we shouldn't do anything. That's a very juvenile mentality.

I don't care for McCain much either. He is not the one I voted for in the primary, but I see it as a lesser of the two evils. I vote on morals, and with Obama's track record I guess I am one of those people that clings to their religion and guns. And yes I know the UAW supports the democrats, but I don't think that makes it right. Obama is not for this country. He won't put his hand on his heart during the National Anthem and he won't wear an American flag pin. His wife is now just saying she is now proud of this country. And husband and wife usually thing alike. As for McCain the only hope he has is Palin. And yes I am also one of those Pro-Lifers. It's amazing what a heated topic this is for everyone. Including myself I guess.

You do realize that you can be pro-choice, but anti abortion? I know it doesn't make sense, but just because you are anti abortion, doesn't mean you have the right to force it upon someone else. That is pretty much the democratic stance. Let people make their own decisions and when people make mistakes, we'll be there for them. The republican stance is we will make rules that people have to live by and when they make mistakes, screw em, they knew the rules.

Do you honestly believe that Obama doesn't have morals? The guy has been married to one woman, father of two, man of faith. As to what his wife said, I can understand how a black woman may not be overly proud of this country. We preach freedom, yet restrict our own citizens.

He won't put his hand over his heart? I have 8 years of service and have not once put my hand over my heart for the anthem. Does that mean I don't love my country? Same with the pin, who cares. The guy has dedicated his life to public service, give him some credit.

Cut healthcare benefits for war veterans.

Set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind.

Dissolved more international treaties than any president in U.S. history.

My presidency is the most secretive and unaccountable of any in U.S. history.

Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history (the 'poorest' multimillionaire, Condoleezza Rice, has an Exxon oil tanker named after her).

First U.S. president to establish a secret shadow government.

Took the biggest world sympathy for the U.S. after 9/11, and in less than a year made the U.S. the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in U.S. and world history).

With a policy of 'disengagement' created the most hostile Israeli-Palestine relations in at least 30 years.

Fist U.S. president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability.

Changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.

Set all-time record for number of administration appointees who violated U.S. law by not selling huge investments in corporations bidding for government contracts.

Failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive.'

Failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capital building. After 18 months I have no leads and zero suspects.

In the 18 months following the 9/11 attacks I have successfully prevented any public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the United States.

Removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in U.S. history.

In a little over two years created the most divided country in decades, possibly the most divided the U.S. has ever been since the Civil War.

Do you understand that Mccain wants to make you report your premiums your employer pays for your health care. Which means you will have to pay taxes on roughly $12000 in extra earnings a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So lets see at an average of 25% taxes of income, this stupid move will cost us roughly on average $3000 right out of are pockets!!!!!!!!!! GREAT MOVE MCCAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And how the hell does this make health insurance affordably!!!!!!!!!!!!

It costs ford half of that for your healthcare. Check your earnings and benefit statement before you start spouting off. I do agree that making that taxable is stupid but I think universal healthcare taked the fucking cake.

The Uaw is big business just like Ford. They are in the business of selling labor nothing more, nothing less. If you think you are part of some "movement" think again. You are more like and industrial athlete. You pay somebody to negotiate your pay, beneifits, working conditions, etc.

Sorry, that's not entirely true. That story comes from one photo taken by Time magazine that was jumped all over by the press. Do a Google image search and you'll see these:

Yeah and without the UAW you would have a middle class in America!!! Rich and poor. There are a lot of people who think that they are rich and vote republican, but wait till the middle class is gone and you will see that you are with the rest of us.....near the bottom of the food chain. We can either fight and elect someone that is fighting for the middle class or we can all be poor. I am not saying that he isn't a politician....they all are, but he is the only one that is going to give us opportunities to prosper!!! People better open up their eyes!!

On another not...did anyone see comedy centeral last night?? They had Mcbush, I mean Mcain's acceptance speach and they panned to bush's acceptance speak...they kept going back and forth and they were exactly the same. I am trying to find it on YOUTUBE. When I do I will post it. It is absolutely hilarious!!

As for universal healthcare, that is a joke! Do your research and find out how well it's doing in Canada. Try waiting 9 months for an MRI.

And actually it's been the democrats bringing in the socialist movement. It's the liberal judges, don't blame it on Bush.

The only joke is that you think that you are a republican. Unless you have a million in the back, you are not a millionaire!! :finger: They do not wait 9 mnths for a MRI either. The republican hate universal healthcare because then they wouldn't be able to rape the working people of american on healthcare costs and perscription drugs. The republican want you to pay for all your healthcare out of your pocket. WAKE UP AMERICA!!! THE RICH MAKE UP ONLY 20% OF AMERICA. IF YOU AIN'T IN THAT 20% YOU ARE THE WORKING CLASS/MIDDLE CLASS. All you have to do is ask yourself...are you and everyone in your family better today than you were 8 yrs ago!! :headscratch: Top 2 elected officials in the US are tied to oil....how did that work out for us.......4 dollar per gallon gas!!

This is a typical republican response. Instead of trying to lift people up you guys want to point fingers and cry because you believe someone is getting something of yours. Well unless your in your 70's or older I can guarntee that you are lucky as ever to have the pay and benefits that you and your family get. (You didn't do anything to deserve what you got) you just got a lucky break and got a good UAW job. It was the dem's who wanted and still do to lift the standard of living up for everyone. Not just a crooked few. Its sad that you are so selfish. If your so great why not quit a union shop and go out in the real world and make your mark. HMM. Because you cant. How can you tell how great a county is? By how it takes care of its elderly, downtroden and poor. I'll bet you voted to make the retirees pay more of their health Insurance.

That is the diversion that Republicans like to do....they point the finger at everyone else, while they sneak thee hand in your back pocket!!

What about 50 million Americans that if they needed an MRI will NEVER get one because they have no insurance? Also if the Canadian system is so bad why are their prescription drugs cheaper and their life spans longer?
