What about the cuts to medicare from obamacare?...you like those?

You do realize that aces post are always from some far left web site......stop blindly defending him...you look weak!

I guess far left to you is the New York times? Or the economist?

Or the Cato institute?

Or the Heritage foundation?

I have cited all of those in the past week.

So did you read the link about the Medicare cuts?

Another good article on the Murdoch empire from the Guardian

"It's not phone hacking that will kill News Corp in the US"

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2011/aug/19/news-corp-phone-hacking

"But the unthinkable in terms of a News Corp restructuring is already being thought.

The market chatter is illustrative of how Wall St and the industry now view News Corp; as a company potentially fighting on too many fronts with an octogenarian leader and no succession plan. Interestingly, too, the legal threats that would make a difference to the company in the US – in particular any future indictments of James Murdoch which flow from police inquiries in the UK – are in many ways matched by Murdoch losing his political grip here.

Fox News is still the US's number one cable network but in July it was the only network which actually lost viewers over 2010. Its triumvirate of rightists, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren, all saw declines and the furthest right commentator, Glenn Beck, has gone from the schedules.

This is symptomatic of another reason why Murdoch is in trouble. Fox News practically invented the Tea Party, and therefore to some extent is to blame for the political eccentricities list of GOP candidates now scrapping to take on Obama and the fracturing at the heart of the Republican party. Fox's own tone has been back-pedaling from its more extreme positions, but the CEOs and the GOP grandees who would naturally be Murdoch's constituency are no longer in thrall to his power in quite the same way."

So...What ever happened to Glen Beck?

http://motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2011/09/demise-glenn-beck

"If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound? Good question. Now try this one: If a ranting lunatic doesn't have a show on Fox, does anyone know he exists? Apparently not. For some reason, we have bestowed this power to define who matters and who doesn't on Roger Ailes and Fox News. Why?"

http://prospect.org/csnc/blogs/tapped_archive?month=09&year=2011&base_name=what_ever_happened_to_glenn_be

"Remember Glenn Beck? For a while there he was the most talked-about media figure in the country, his mug shouting from magazine covers as he channeled the particular brand of crazy that had seized the Republican party. His unhinged conspiracy theories and venomous hatred for Barack Obama were perfectly in tune with what a significant portion of the country was feeling; his books shot up the best-seller list, his Fox News show got great ratings, and everyone was talking about him.

And now? Not so much. When his TV show was cancelled (because of falling ratings, advertiser unease, and the remarkable fact that even at Fox people thought he was kind of nuts), Beck wasn’t defeated—he’d just grow his media empire all by his lonesome. The centerpiece of that empire was to be GBTV, a subscription-based Internet television service. How’s it going? "

Perhaps Beck's chickens have come home to roost?

Why is it the Left only brings up Glenn Beck? Nobody here cares!!!!!!

Maybe we can get your take on Keith Olbermann's dismissal first from FNiA, then from his prime time anchor gig at MSNBC. Then we can talk about his new show on Algore's network which is getting trumped in the ratings department by shows whose ratings he called pathetic.

At least Beck has best selling books

Interesting video from a Fox linked source

http://online.wsj.co...6CBDF1FE5C.html

Who needs a job?

Does anyone need a job?

While I do get some personal gratification from my work.....I actually do not want a job. That IS what retirement is. You earn enough to reach a point where your assets are adequate to provide for your future needs in a lifestyle you find acceptable.

Hell, give me $20,000,000 and you can have my job!!! I'm going fishin'!

Can you believe anything on Fox News?

http://cleantechnica...dra-facts-lies/

A lot of the right wingers that post here swallow ALL of these lies ...and then repeat them here.

But the right wing has proven that facts...like deficits ....don't matter.

Do you actually watch the shows or are you regurgitating what you are fed?

Oink, Oink, Oink!

  • 2 weeks later...

Well stated with facts and Palin's own words. She will be gone from Fox in 6 months.

Well, if she starts now, she could have a hip-hop/rap act together by then, just in time for Tea Party fund-raisers. It be bitchin'. Yo mama moose, shake yo rack, so to speak. Amazingly, all she has to do is be herself. :)
