Ford Unveils Next-Generation Ford Focus & 2011 Lincoln MKX at Detroit Auto Show

Ford (NYSE: F) is changing the game when it comes to the way cars are made. Two of the most exciting reveals this year will be the next-generation Ford Focus and the 2011 Lincoln MKX.

 

Monday, January 11th, 8:45 a.m. EST – Ford Focus reveal

 

Tuesday, January 12th, 8:00 a.m. EST – Lincoln MKX reveal

Why do they need two? weird.

 

 

I'll be really surprised if there is another NAIAS vehicle intro in addition to the Focus and MKX, MyFord and new Mustang engines. I think they are saving Edge and Explorer for Chicago and NY. Remember back in '06, Edge and MKX weren't introduced at the same auto show. Why should they be now? Also I remember Horbury stating that from now on (time of Flex/MKT and MKS/Taurus) Lincoln and Ford introductions will be spaced as far apart as possible. Does anyone remember if the Fusion/Milan/MKZ mid-cycle intros were simultaneous? I think they weren't!

they were all unveiled in la last year
