NickF1011
Akerson demanding integrity is like an illegal immigrant demanding the ability to vote. So you're saying it's justified and likely to happen? :poke:
RichardJensen
Posted this on the Ford topic as well: Sitting there, making millions, and lecturing, hectoring, badgering and haranguing people that make a fraction of what you make is a terrible idea.
grbeck
I don't think his military background has prepared him for this role. At the end of the day, GM needs a radical culture change...and the bailout, for better or worse, short-circuited that process. jpd80
And this is why GM and Ford are poles apart..... First and foremost, there has to be an internal desire for cultural change and that change has to be driven by an inspirational and energetic leader. If anything, Ackerman just underscored his failings as the kind of leader GM needs.. You never see Mulally dwelling on the negative, it's always focusing on the right way and goals.. Pick up any past interview and you see just how infectious Mulally's attitude is and how it rubs off on his team Edited August 10, 2012 by jpd80
TomServo92
Why do Akerson's comments make me think someone needs to do a "Hitler learns of the GM media leaks." YouTube videos?
akirby
Why do Akerson's comments make me think someone needs to do a "Hitler learns of the GM media leaks." YouTube videos? He'd take it as a compliment....
