Bryan1
Need to make up for the loss of F-150 production.
lfeg
In order to sell them, you must build them.
jpd80
Perhaps F250s are becoming more popular, the 6.2 and the diesel versions are both good products. Edited January 30, 2014 by jpd80
SoonerLS
They must be optimistic about the economy Maybe it's just that the Scorpion is repairing the damage done to the Super Duty's reputation by the last Navistars, and heavy duty buyers are coming back. buddysystem
Need to make up for the loss of F-150 production. I think that you are right but I also think there may be some that will wait on the all aluminum F150 and buy an F250 until they see how the aluminum body does in real life and on the job site. Bob Rosadini
Maybe it's just that the Scorpion is repairing the damage done to the Super Duty's reputation by the last Navistars, and heavy duty buyers are coming back. Dodge has been making big gains, and there are those whose still have 6.0/6.4 horror stories in their minds. I still hear comments about the 6.7 being a POS and given its complexity the 6 cyl. Cummins I think still has a high comfort level with a lot of people. And keep in mind, when you say .."the last Navistars", most would say it wasn't a Navistar problem, it was a Ford problem with their choice of fuel management etc. In fact Navistar still uses that motor. In any case, I agree with your point that hopefully people are hearing more good things than bad.
