Me thinks that with better grip, there would be much better performance. I suspect a better wheel/tire package would eliminate the performance gap. That said, I don't really want tires with an expected lifespan of 10,000 miles. If I was buying the Camaro, I would not get the 1LE package. I'll probably wait about 12 months to get a new Mustang. It will probably be the EB4 with the performance package. It will be as fast in a straight line as my 05 Mustang GT and better than my car in every other way.
