rmc523
I still am convinced Toyota, Nissan, and Honda have an internal competition to see who can design and sell the ugliest vehicle to the American people.

grbeck
I believe that Honda has dropped out of that particular competition. The latest Honda designs aren't ugly - certainly not compared to this. The new Accord and Acura TLX are "safe" designs. If anything, they fall on the boring side of the ledger. Yeah, I should've put an asterisk for them, because I do agree with that assessment. Though the Fit and that HR-V thing aren't exactly lookers to me (but as a whole, I agree with you, they're much better than Toyota/Nissan.

Taking the last pic from the first post and the comment from the second, it then hit me... It took awhile, but Toyota has finally showed the world what the refreshed styling on the first generation Pontiac Trans Sport should've looked like. Dave-S
The funny part is despite it's styling Toyota will sell everyone of them and their customers will love them.

AlRozzi
Really? I've never seen a car more ugly and, well, strange. I don't get it. I recall comments coming from Toyota that they were going to be more daring with their styling. Apparently so. Please, Ford, do not hire the stylist(s)away from Toyota.
Fgts
Is that a 1990 Chevy Lumnina APV?.
Dave-S
I think they hired the designer from Pontiac that designed this:
97svtgoin05gt
Well think about the latest Camry and Toyota's description of "bold new styling". The most frustrating thing about all of this is that their stuff sells no matter what. If the Smart Car was born from Toyota we'd see them everywhere right now. Kev-Mo
And for some completely unexplained reason -the greenies will line up in droves to buy this hideous thing - just like they do the 4Runner here in the mountain west.

Dave-S
That thing needs a big wing on the back, a bunch of stickers everywhere, and some 25 inch DUBS and it would look really hot !!!!!
