Sherminator98
Any reason why the ST or RS isn't listed in the order guide?
fuzzymoomoo
Any reason why the ST or RS isn't listed in the order guide? They (along with the BEV) get their own order guides.
fuzzymoomoo
So 4 new colors for the last model year. Interesting.
Pioneer
I would have loved to have a 2018 Lightning Blue 5-speed Titanium. Edited March 30, 2017 by Pioneer
630land
IMHO, the SEL should at least get a power driver seat. But have to see what comes for new generation . CD players are dying off, not surprised to see dropped from S,SE.

Much easier to have everything on a flash drive and use voice commands rather than flipping through a CD book or pulling down the visor. 630land
Someone in another Focus forum was making a big deal of the little changes. And saying "Focus wont be a player in C segment anymore". But the poster is from EU, and don't really know US market. Some negative nannies there are predicting that the Mk4 will be "cheapened with beam rear axle" and no ST/RS, etc. But where is the proof? Anyway, wonder when is change over for '18 and the first 2019/Mk 4? Another interesting thing is they are bringing back a green shade after a few years, last one was Frosted Glass in 2012. akirby
Some negative nannies there are predicting that the Mk4 will be "cheapened with beam rear axle" and no ST/RS, etc. But where is the proof? That's been pretty much confirmed by spy shots and Ford comments about making it cheaper.
630land
Wait and see what really happens. Spy shots are never "confirmation". Example, Aussie Falcons were seen in MI, and some assumed "they must be coming here", but never happened Until the car is introduced and spec are available, then wait. fuzzymoomoo
I just saw one in the new Hot Pepper Red (a C-Max too) and it's awesome looking Picture 2/3 Bronze Fire with 1/3 Race Red and add metallic clear coat. It's gorgeous.
Sherminator98
As much as I love buying and listening to CDs, I haven't used the CD player in my car in years. Never in the newer one. Much easier to have everything on a flash drive and use voice commands rather than flipping through a CD book or pulling down the visor. I had the same two CD's in my Mustang for so long that I think I accidently left them in the player when I sold the car last month. I haven't had a CD in the SHO since I bought it. fuzzymoomoo
Just saw the blue metallic and the outrageous green. The green looks to be the same that the fiesta is offered with Blue looks like its somewhere between a cobalt blue and robin's egg blue Edited June 21, 2017 by fuzzymoomoo
630land
Well, now we know how they are going to make the next Focus "more profitable", Chinese sourcing. And, not coming until mid 2019, so will there be any '19 models?
Pioneer
It'd be nice to think Ford would import some from Germany to keep a minimal supply. I would think the new model would be a 2020. A 2019 1.5L 6 speed hyd auto sourced from Deutchland might tempt me to trade my 2016 in.
630land
New models look to be 2020's. Confirmed a year gap in production switch. "May we sell you an Eco Sport or Escape instead?" is what they plan for real.
Shorty Long
Any idea of what changes will happen to 2018 STs?
fuzzymoomoo
Any idea of what changes will happen to 2018 STs? Order guide isn't out yet, but probably not much if anything at all. It is getting that awesome hot pepper red or whatever it's called. Edited July 13, 2017 by fuzzymoomoo
Shorty Long
Someone on reddit posted what appears to be a section from the 2018 order guide and it lists the ST as having twin scroll turbo in addition to the new colors. Many seem to think the turbo info is a typo though.

akirby
The first gen 2.0 is not a twin scroll design. Not sure about the 2.3.
Shorty Long
That's odd...I thought only the recently updated 2.0 that's in the edge/Escape is twin scroll
fuzzymoomoo
The first gen 2.0 is not a twin scroll design. Not sure about the 2.3. My mistake. I always thought that's what was different with the Ecoboost vs other turbocharged engines.
