theoldwizard1
This is a picture of the underside of a 2017 Transit T350 Warranty book, page 8, states Corrosion Coverage Under your New Vehicle Limited Warranty, Corrosion Coverage begins at the original warranty start date and covers body sheet metal panels against corrosion due to a defect in factory-supplied materials and workmanship. The length of the coverage depends on the type of corrosion damage: • If corrosion causes perforations (holes) in the body sheet metal panels, the coverage extends for 5 years/unlimited distance. • If corrosion does not cause perforations (holes), and is not the result of vehicle usage and/or airborne materials, the Corrosion Coverage is 36 months or 60,000 kilometers (whichever occurs first). Flying68
No matter what is said on this board, ultimately only a court can decide, unless Ford agrees that they are.
akirby
My guess is they'll say it's only the painted body panels not the underside. But it won't hurt to ask. That rust looks highly unusual. Ford had a problem with F150 underside rusting - this might be related.

Warranty or not, I'd think that a Dealer should see it and get a Ford Service Representative involved.
