flagman
Wow, this is cool, truck accelerates and decelerates when in cruise to the posted speed limit. It can be turned on or off, and I could see a problem with ice or snow on roadway, flagman
Atlbraves21
That’s really neat. I have that option ordered on my bronco. Hoping it makes my highway rides to work a little easier for me. Lol
PineNut
I've have the adaptive cruise on my 2015 F150. Best vehicle invention since the wiper blade....
Orange-F150
Adaptive cruise control is part of Co-pilot 360 assist, which also includes lane centering. The next level up is co-pilot 360 active, bluecruise(with automatic parking). I recently amended my order to include that, sounds like it makes for a fun road trip if you drive far. KingRanchRuby
I just recently commented on another post about the adaptive cruise control feature and I'll tell anyone that has never experienced it before...it is the best feature money can buy IMO. Setting it for a speed and not having to readjust it for changing traffic conditions is all that and a bag of chips. For long distance road trips on the highways, it greatly improves your driving experience. ?
ChasingCoral
I have Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control on my Mustang Mach E. It's a great feature. You do have to watch out for sudden errors, though, mostly on the interstate. Some Interstates have local lanes or frontage roads with the speed sign mounted between the standard and local lanes. Even if you are in the fast lanes, the car may see that and slow to match the speed of the slow lanes. Ditto with exit ramps or road-adjacent rest areas. You have to toggle your cruise back up to where you want it. The feature is well worth that little quirk.
brucelinc
Adaptive cruise makes the original non-adaptive type seem incredibly crude and archaic.
HarrisonIII
Thanks for the info... I cant wait to get mine and try it out. seems like it will make being in a traffic jam much more relaxing
Texican
I've been waiting to try this feature out especially now that my commute is mostly highway.
amtrucker22
I have co-pilot 360 with Bluecruise on my Mach-E. I use this on my 80 mile commutes each day. I usually have it engaged for 85% of my drive and I absolutely love it.
jflottawa
I tried them on a rental car a while back but I'm really looking forward to getting my truck with the speed sign recognition! Not having to cancel, set, resume, tap the brake... I have high hopes for the feature!!
Jgking
First got adaptive cruise control on my 2018 F150 and now will not buy anything without at least that capability. Ordered a 2022 Expedition Platinum to get BlueCruise for trips but at this rate we might get it in 2024!
sippy12
My wife's car(Acura) has adaptive cruise...and I don't care for it...it beeps every time it has to slow down ...so in traffic very annoying. I like the idea of adaptive cruise and love the idea of blue cruise...hoping ford does a better job than Honda.
Ford truck guy
my 2019 F150 HAD it... my 2020 F350 HAS it... my 2022 F150 will have it... No beeping, it just awesome ! The only draw back is IF your NOT paying attention, you could creep up on a car, have your vehicle slow down 5 mph or more and not realize it.... No biggie, just means driving slower for a period of time until you realize what is going on..... get in passing lane, pass and back to speed Edited April 22, 2022 by Ford truck guy

Adaptive Cruise ( as I know it ) goes off the preset speed that you choose.. You can also change the distance between you and the car in front of you to allow you greater or shorter following distance between vehicles. It WILL NOT work in the winter when there is snow or ice built up on the front.. and it will NOT work when the Fisher plow is hanging off the front end as its blocking all the sensors.
sippy12
I am not sure I would use in the winteranyway. When setting cruise can you easily activate regular cruise over adaptive cruise and vice a versus?

Very accurate and cool. Edited April 24, 2022 by Black Label
