With our fourth child due any day now I wholeheartedly agree and it would be a very tempting purchase for an adventure vehicle with adequate room for the family and supplies. ETA… do the “Trail” as Ford is pitching it, higher roof and a canvas for builders. For the passenger variant, go with a low roof for clearance and access to a roof rack/tents while bringing over the Timberline name. Rick73 Posted October 21, 2022 Share Posted October 21, 2022 The blue mid-roof FWD Transit Trail (likely the UK version mentioned) looks great.. For intended DIY and motorhome use, FWD with its added headroom would be a good option to have, though highly unlikely to occur. RWD and AWD mid-roof Transit are just a bit limited in headroom, essentially forcing many buyers and RV manufacturers into using the high-roof van.
