  1. Took the wife’s Aviator up to NH tonight for Christmas Eve. What a great vehicle and fantastic highway cruiser. Extremely quiet, very comfortable. Massaging heated seats and steering wheel were fantastic. Plenty of power, silky smooth transmission, and thanks to CarPlay and Waze,,,..no speeding tickets, very comfortable, and loads of extra space to bring home the kids Christmas/Chanukah presents. Might have to consider a Lincoln for me, once it’s time to replace my car.

  2. Would like to see the f series trucks get a full sliding rear window, the only one offering this I believe is the Toyota trucks, nice feature though.

  3. Honestly, I use rockauto for pretty much everything. They even have motorcraft parts for less than my dealer charges for them.

  4. Listen smartass, our neighbor backed over his girlfriends' two-year-old daughter. It took him a long time to recover from that. I'd love to see you tell him your stupid opinion and watch him pound your nose flat. But hey, you don't have to worry about that because you're hiding behind a screen. Do humanity a favor and write all your stupid opinions on a nice heavy piece of cardboard and then fold it up and cram it where the sun doesn't shine.

  5. Yes I know it’s done for profit purposes, but it seems foolish to target models like the Ranger that are trying to get established back into a segment. The other midsized trucks already offer a much better split-fold rear seat and now the Ranger makes it’s rear seat even worse? That doesn’t make sense to me. What goes next? The hood struts replaced by a prop rod? I probably shouldn’t have said that because if anyone from Ford just read this I probably gave them an idea. Lol

  6. https://www.fordpartsprime.com/ is very user friendly and finding OEM Ford parts by VIN or model is a breeze. They also carry hard to find and vintage Ford parts and accessories. They're legit.

  7. Just leave it on for 2 weeks and you’ll forget it was there.

  8. +1... they probably put more effort in designing the current one piece glass with little square portal than making the entire glass lower.

  9. Not as crazy as you'd expect. They're kids (technically, the eldest is an adult at 18, and the 16 year old has always been more responsible than most adults), but they're generally well-behaved. Their mom and dad definitely believe in applying discipline to a child's backside as needed.

  10. Want to cut costs? 3 speed wipers, not 10! Limit hub cap designs to three, not 10! Back in the 60's, there used to be 3 air filter part nos. each for Ford, GM and Chrysler! Not now! Ford or any car mfr. shouldn't have to ever design a new starter or alternator for an ICE ever again! Did you ever see how many different toothpastes and sizes there are? Make one that does everything, whitens, fights cavities etc. in small, and large! Half an aisle is needed in the grocery stores! All this crap takes up warehouse space, retail space and takes the consumer 10 minutes to make a toothpaste purchase! Here's a tip: They show in the TV ads squeezing toothpaste onto the entire length of the brush head! You only need 1/2 inch!!! Greedy capitalism!

  12. Last time I looked inventory was up around 40k, maybe a sign that Ford expects stronger sales next year.... I’m just happy that as Ranger sales go up, Colorado Sales seems to be collapsing... something like 8900 last month. This is probably not the Ranger to fully match Tacoma sales but if Ford can get up around 12k to 15k sales a month, then that probably sets up the next generation Ranger in two years time. I love watching this, Ford reclaiming it’s place in midsized trucks.

  13. Man I'm about to fly down there and get pictures myself. If y'all see a black dumpster with no earthly business outside of Ford and nods sticking out the lid, bring Pizza.

  14. I'm not a truck buyer, but I have it on my bronco and it's great. +1 here. The old Mark LT had it, so it boggles my mind that even the luxury F-series trims don't have it.

  15. The new Ranger is actually bigger than an F100 used to be. How about we reintroduce an actual small pickup? Maybe use the Transit Connect chassis and put a built in bed on the back? How about revive an old idea and use the bed design concept from the old VW van based pickup? They had bed sides you could flip down like a tailgate. You could either open the tailgate or open the side gate or open both sides and the back and you had a flat bed.

  16. The 2020 Ranger is already the victim of decontenting. The Ranger name embroidery on the Lariat seats has been deleted. The rear head rests no longer fold down and the front parking sensors have been removed from Co-pilot 360. To get the front sensors you now have to pay extra for the tech package. I guess this would all be fine if the saving were passed onto the consumer, but they won't be. Ford just hopes people don't miss the small things and will continue to pay higher and higher prices. Nasser loved decontenting the hell out of stuff and it looks like Hackett is following that formula.
