and you could not give me a Prius if we had to drive everyday. We love the high seating position of the C-Max....

just got back from a 2K trip to Key West and both Fl coasts. Saw a bunch of C-Max in Fl and had a great time in ours. On some 2 lane roads had the chance to test to passing and the thing sets you back in the seat pretty well. We love ours and thankful Ford built it and we will get another when the 8 year warranty runs out.

don't know about others but I would not have purchased our C-Max with the lower seating of the Focus. We like the high seating of the C-Max even though it cuts the MPG's

my mom bought a brand new '66 Falcon, 6 banger and 3 speed, no cig lighter and rubber floor mats. paid $1600 new and was a tank until I took it on some logging roads in the hills of NC. drove thru a big mud hole about 50 mph and the car just stopped suddenly. put in R and backed out. a couple of days later the car locked up on mom and had it towed to the dealer. evidently I hit something in the mud hole made of metal and broke the trans case and the grease leaked out and the tranny locked up.....

that caused me to covet

If you were talking about an edible I would agree with but since AL from a beer can does not go though an intestinal tract it should be OK, it were were a steak then I agree with you....

lets try to get this back.... I bought a new '91 and had no idea what I was getting. I've had new a 396 Chevelle '67, New '67 327 350 Corvette, New Mustang GT '87, '84 Turbo Coupe but the most fun to drive as well as easy to drive was the SHO. Only issue I had was the brakes. We lived in the Piedmont of NC near the Blue Ridge Parkway and the brakes would not hold up coming down from Boone on 321, lots of tight curves with huge drops in elevation but other than that was just the best driver ever.
