  1. To sum up my opinion on that Mustang, I'll quote the most famous line from Star Wars... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  2. Didn't the Cylons use the computers to shut them off during flight, making them defenceless, and go on to destroy the human race? I'll take the old ones in that case.
  3. I'll choose the one that stacks up poorly against the competetion, the Freestar.
  4. Actually, real luck is not being involved in car accidents.
  5. Hot off the press! I have a picture of the new 2009 Crown Vic! It will look like this:
  6. I remember those very well. My 1987 EXP looked like a carbon copy of the one in your picture. I had that car for 7 years and it was great to own a car that was even more rare than Porches. Many Ford dealerships didn't even know what it was. It was slow, but it got 40(!) mpg on long trips. The girl who bought it kept getting in car accidents, so my red car had tan and white doors and silver fenders and those also got dented. the car was hit so hard that the dashboard broke in half! The car kept running fine according to her up to 120,000 miles and being in that condition, then the car dropped dead. :rip: That girl shouldn't have had a licence.
  7. I think it's a cross between a Checker Marathon and a Mack Truck.
  8. You are correct. They have a few hot models to which the press loves, and thousands of pickups and SUVs that they now must "fire sale" off because they didn't want to slow production on them. Chrysler had the same amount of time to become less dependant on trucks that Ford did and they dropped the ball too.
  9. On those pictures on the GM site, the one called Caprice looks like a Chevrolet... hmmm... That would make a good Impala.
  10. The same can be said about a Ford/Honda match.
  11. ...Or why did BMW give it away to get rid of it after Ford refused to take it as part of the Land Rover sale? BMW had to give the company away.
  12. I doubt that they will ever have a performance car like an AMG or Caddy's V series. But if they did, I would have kept the names like Zephyr and named the special car MkZ. But now they could do the reverse I guess.
  13. Gives a new meaning to lighting a fire under your ass.
  14. My 94 Taurus Sho, 96 Sho and my 99 Merc Sable were all built in Atlanta. (1/3 off all the cars I owned.) All 3 cars were excellent. Thank you for making my cars and good luck.
  15. C'mon, now. A 300 hp V-8 car is 25k!!! This is an outstanding price. An inflation adjusted LX V-8 would probably be around that. I think Ford hit a sweet spot with this that no one else will duplicate for a while.
  16. You can spot a Zephry a mile away too. It's much nicer looking in person.
  17. I've noticed that if someone has even a small problem with a domestic car, then they'll never buy any american car again and if thy have problems with an import, they make excuses for it.
  18. It could have been towed away because of a parking violation.
  19. Ford hasn't updated the Ranger in over 15 years other than cosmetic changes. The F150 is always evolving and improving. I'm guessing the reason behind their decision about the Ranger is because the small pick up market is collapsing and shrinking. Even Toyota and GM sold many more small pickups in the 90's than they do today. The only way I can see small pickups making a comeback is if gas prices double and stay there. This would be bad because Ford would have no replacement in sight and have to compete in this market with a pickup that is on the same platform that made its debut in 1983.
  20. Hmmm. maybe produce the GR-1 and call it the Thunderbird. Ford's sports cars can be a heritage styled Mustang and an ass kicking modern T-Bird sold in limited numbers. No one could ever complain about underpowered T-Birds again.
  21. look here: http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_..._v24/ai_6462075 West Germany sold 97,750 cars in Japan. Japan sold over 1,000,000 cars in Europe. Although they are doing better than the American makes, I'd hardly say that the Europeans have a balanced trade with Japan. Also luxury makes sell better with high tariffs than would lower priced makes.
