  1. Am I the only one that read the comments? What I was able to gather is our public schools are failing. A shame about the trucks.
  2. Yes I'd be shocked if the Mustang doesn't take this. I mean come on, against a Hyundai and a many year old VW?? I'd be shocked if its not in the bag.
  3. And now to publish everything you already know about the 2015 Mustang GT.
  4. Well think about the latest Camry and Toyota's description of "bold new styling". The most frustrating thing about all of this is that their stuff sells no matter what. If the Smart Car was born from Toyota we'd see them everywhere right now.
  5. Be interesting to see how a Nano 2.7 version of the Mustang properly tuned to say 365hp or so would fair. Price it around $35k. I bet it'd sell.
  6. 650hp and very light = be REALLY careful when its raining bub, this person obviously was not.
  7. Well I owned one of those Cougars, a 2001 V-6 one pretty loaded up. I knew after about 2-3 weeks I hated the car. It was a huge mistake to buy it, I lost my posterior on it too. Its not a good car in my opinion and a no brainer to dump it.
  8. I think that Focus wagon would sell here in the US. They should give it a whirl but me thinks it would dip too much into the Escape till and lower overall profits.
  9. The GTI is a smaller car and lighter as well. This is the first iteration of the EB Mustang, the GTI by contrast has been tweaked for years.
  10. You have to wonder how that made if out the door let alone off the line.
  11. This is all very exciting to think about, I've definitely pondered the possibility of this happening some day but the expense will be large I'm sure.
  12. Way too many mistakes these days and we're not talking small ones either. Doesn't just apply to Ford either btw.
  13. Just disappointed with the King Cobra. That thing could've been really something but between the paint job and the wheels...well it isn't.
  14. I'd like to see this car destroy the ZL1 and stay with the Z/28 for $55K.
  15. I am shocked at the horrible performance ESPECIALLY the Benz. BMW FTW!
  16. The Explorer has taken some serious heat from the out doorsie, hunting/camper set since becoming a non-body on frame design. It is no longer "truck" like enough for them so no matter what Ford does with regard to Explorer in the future this group will always pan it. The only other observation I'll make is that the expense of these things has absolutely skyrocketed. There are quite a few Fords that traverse the $50k mark now and Explorer is one of them. You won't be getting too many of the older set that used to buy these with those numbers. They simply cannot afford it.
  17. And as far as the 5.0 choking out any more normally aspirated grunt, I'm not sure there's too much more to give and have it meet CAFE requirements, emissions standards etc. We may be reaching the end of what this jewel has to give.
  18. This "test" if you will should've been done strictly with the regular Mustang GT (no track pack) and the standard garden variety Camaro SS (no 1LE option). THIS would've provided us with some real, telling information. By design, the two "track packs" are different. Different components, different prices and obviously different outcomes. There are too many variables between these two cars for it to have a fairly based comparison.
  19. Not sure if this stuff is made in China but whatever money we saved (if they were) will now be paid out to recover from inferior product. Make stuff in the USA again. Our stuff works.
