  1. My dealer has a stand alone showroom. In the past, they had Ford, Mercury and Lincoln at one store and Lincoln and Volvo at the other store about 7 miles apart. When Mercury went away, they moved Lincoln out of the Ford store and only at the Lincoln Volvo store. Volvo went away and it's Lincoln only there now. A couple of years ago, they also opened more of a boutique style location in a more upscale area a few miles away. The main Lincoln store also has it's own parts and service facilities.
  2. I've been reading that Ford is going to be drastically trimming it's options. They say it's too costly and takes too long to build so many choices. I'm taking that to be something like they did with the Fusion. You'll be able to get package 1, 2 or 3 and few stand alone options.
  3. My choice would be the black that's offered with the Jet package. That looks amazing to me.
  4. That's my only reservation so far. With the Aviator having 400HP, seems the Nautilus should be at least 350.I'm not too sure I'd trust a CVT.
  5. As soon as I saw that steering wheel, I instantly liked the car. That wheel is like what Chrysler used on the 60-63 Imperial. I've owned 6 of those over the past 50 years. I already liked the Nautilus and had a 22 on order. I didn't buy because the 10 ways seat was just too uncomfortable and no forward and back tilt for the headrests made it even worse.
  6. Doesn't Mercedes off a scent system? The Revel 28 speaker system has been around a few years on the Aviator.
  7. I saw it and was surprised the Nautilus still exists. I really like the looks of the interior. Makes me glad I passed on the 22 I had ordered last year. My only reservation so far is only a 4 cylinder engine and CVT mated to the higher output one.
  8. I guess it does depend on the vehicle. I ordered a Nautilus the beginning of this month and got a VIN end of last week and scheduled currently for the week of June 20th. Now, I'm not sure if I want it due to lack of availability on the 22 way seats. I now also have an F-150 Tremor on order that they did a spec change from an existing canceled order.
  9. Funny thing is I just noticed the Nautilus order guide was just updated on 5-02. The section updated is the section where the 22 way seats are listed. Why didn't they remove them if they can't be ordered? I tried to order just days after that update.
  10. I have the same concerns. I sat in one with the standard seats and wasn't that impressed. My dealer also told me the 22 way are not available. I have a Reserve, black/black, 202A, monochromatic package and satin roof rails. I would change to a Black Label if that would get me the 22 way seats, but don't think trim level makes any difference.
  11. The same thing is happening with Nautilus. I called Lincoln to see if they had any update and the rep told me "oh you can order the Ultra Comfort seats". I told her my sales advisor tried and it wouldn't accept the build. So, she calls the sales manager at my dealership to see what he has to say. After talking to him, she called me back and said, " I guess you can't order them". Seems like nobody knows what's going on with this stuff.
  12. I ordered a Reserve with everything except the 22 way seats in black and monochromatic. They told me possibly 3 months. Dealer wasn't interested in doing a swap because the other dealers demands are too much. Some are asking for 2 vehicles in trade for one and others are asking for MSRP. The sales manager said they can't buy it at MSRP and then sell it to me on X plan. They'll watch for adding the seats if things should happen to change.
  13. Anyone know when the 23's can be ordered?
  14. I found one 300 miles away that has them and is a 100% match on everything else. I'm going to my dealer tomorrow to see if they can work it out.
  15. You were lucky to get the massaging seats. I tried to order yesterday and my sales adviser said no go.
  16. I just got the same message from my sales advisor. I'm thinking about getting a Nautilus. They have one in transit that has everything I want but 22 way seats. I asked to place a custom order and he told me the 22 way seats not available. He's hoping the 23's will have them.
  17. What a difference a few updates make. I don't really like the current version that much. The 22 looks really nice though.
  18. I haven't had any issues with my 21 Aviator yet. Sync gets a little wacky at times and I have to restart my phone every time I want to listen to Pandora. That may be a phone issue though. I did receive a recall notice for the battery harness issue I still need to have taken care of.
  19. If GM expects to make it by 2035, they need to do a little better then they are with the Bolt. Every time something like that happens, add a few more years to public acceptance.
  20. I traded a 19 Edge ST with 2,200 miles on it and got less than KBB, but about $3k more than I could have gotten beginning of the year. I bought an Aviator and think I did OK. There was a $1k rebate, $2k customer cash, X plan, a fairly low bank interest rate and a chunk left over after the Edge payoff plus cash down. I was able to get more on the Aviator then planned, such as the premium wheels and the package with HUD, wireless charging and phone as key.
  21. That's a big concern these days. In my case, the truck would be inside my garage 95% of the time where the sun and air pollution are not destroying the paint and interior.
  22. I have a 21 and love it so far. I'm only 3 months in, but so far, no issues or complaints.
  23. With the way things are going, what makes you think you'll get a 21? I thought Badlands was on the not likely to build list?
  24. I recently saw an article that states 20% of those that bought electric in California switched back to gas because of the hassle charging an EV.
