  1. Thanks for the feedback. I know I’m probably sounding a bit paranoid that I have a problem I just never noticed it before. I just want to make sure any issue I have big or small is taken care of before the warranty runs out so I don’t get stuck with a bill later on. I intend to keep this for at least 3 more years so just being vigilant about keeping it running perfectly.
  2. Here is a link to a video of what I am describing. Decided to put it out online. Youtube
  3. I recently had a PTU leak and had it fixed under warranty. Everything has seemed fine but I noticed something odd on Friday. As I was toggling through the dash menu, I noticed my intelligent AWD indicator powering all 4 wheels virtually almost 100% of the time in my city driving. What's really odd is that it was dry and all very low throttle applications. I don't remember this happening before and would not match up on how I believe it should work. Shouldn't there be wheel spin before shifting power to the rear? How accurate is that indicator on the dash? I'll try and post a video to show exactly what I am seeing.
  4. What matters most to luxury buyers, drivetrain or badge on the hood?
  5. Have you ever shopped at a Cadillac dealership? Oh God, it's terrible. I went to two, test driving slightly used CTS and ATS before I got my Fusion. I've been to several Lincoln dealerships, that were much nicer.
  6. It's his schtick! It's also entertainment! There are times when he fully embraces it and there other times you can tell he's being sincere.
  7. I don't mind it too much. It just looks old, especially compared to Lincoln's new interiors. I mean, styling wise all models except the all most dead MKT have the new design language. Since 2017 we got a complete new Continental, a refreshed MKZ, a completely redesigned Navigator, a refreshed Nautilus, a completely new Aviator, and completely new Corsair. Think about that for a second. In 4 model years, the majority of the Lincoln lineup have had ground up redesigns. I get the gripe about the Nautilus but it just didn't get done. A new will be out soon enough.
  8. Yeah, that's probably it. If you think about it, the Corsair will be the entry level Lincoln once the MKZ is gone (at least for a while). I don't necessarily agree with it but I am sure there would be some decent price overlap with the Nautilus and BL Corsair.
  9. I like it a lot and should sell like hotcakes. Two things I don't like I don't like though. In my opinion, the 2.3 should have 300hp. I know it's nit picky but I think 300hp is a nice top engine and differentiates it further in HP from the 2.0. I don't like that they are waiting on the hybrids for details and release dates. It would be great to have them ready at launch. Otherwise, I think it should sell very well. Now again, much like the Aviator, this is great on paper but we'll need to see how these feel behind the wheel.
  10. True. I expect a lot less episodes though. I would think no more than 4 a year. The last one in Mongolia was epic and a great watch.
  11. Yes, it actually was a really great episode. Strange one but really well done. The whole series minus some dumb parts in the first season were really great. The little I watched Top Gear I liked it but didn't watch it that much. This series kept me engaged. It a shame it's done but...we'll they are old.
  12. Understood. I had few glitches with mine right after I bought it. Tried to upgrade myself and failed. I took it into the dealer and it took 2-3 hours to upgrade. It's been nearly flawless since.
  13. I am skeptical at 62k starting price. I had heard that the base v8 would be mid to upper 80's. I don't know what to believe right now. So it's base model with have 500 hp and top model 1000. I guess we'll have to wait but if this has super car performance it's going to cost money. But I could totally see GM selling this at a loss this year and raise the cost 10% year.
  14. The only thing I learned from that was it could go straight down a road in snowy conditions, with no other cars or outside variables (stops signs, people, dogs, etc) and make a right turn in 69 seconds. This means nothing.
  15. Just blame Silicon Valley! Anyone with a half a brain could realize that while we have certain underlying technologies to create AV's, there are far too many unknown variables to make them a safe and viable option for the consumer right now. Yet, that's all Silicon Valley distruptors have promoted in an effort to get cash. And in the end, that's all that Wall Street cared about.
  16. You mean making it look like a soulless 90's econobox? The engineering is good but I wouldn't want to be seen in it.
  17. I would totally disagree about GM. And let’s be honest, Chrysler hasn’t been Chrysler since before the Germans took them over. They are just super lucky they exist. What did GM change after bankruptcy? Not a whole lot. Sure they cut some brands and restructured Europe but what else? Dumped billions into Cadillac chasing ring times. Chevy making some of the blandest sedans around. Making a great electric car only to saddle it with the looks of a 90’s crap econobox. Sitting on their asses with full size trucks and SUVs. In my opinion, the bankruptcy made them change skin deep and erases all their debt. This only to go back to the same bad habits.
  18. Can you imagine by the end of year, with the Aviator and Corsair in the Lincoln lineup.
  19. Proof will be in the pudding! I expect complaining any time there is a regime change.
  20. Yes, we don't know. It's great we can speculate a bit knowing a few tidbits about the EU model but let's not jump to conclusions to the final specs get released for US. I am going to reserve judgement on both Explorer and Escape hybrids till I can get behind the wheel of them. Let's not overreact with out knowing the facts.
  21. Anyone know how going into electric mode works? Push a button or is it automatically on until you have no juice. I’ve only driven regular hybrids so not sure how that will work.
  22. If 370 is true and this is out next spring, buy your Ford stock now. And get that holy water ready for Tesla!
  23. Do we have a rough idea when it's coming out? Reading between the lines of some comments, one would believe this has been fast tracked and would be out sooner than expected.
