  1. Now why would they do that? It doesn't fit their narrative.
  2. Oof That review reads like they are purposely trying to be as negative as possible without an ounce of objectivity. Or they just weren't paid to write a glowing review
  3. You can get a reasonably loaded Taurus SHO for 32k right now
  4. I still think we might see a Ranger concept in Detroit
  5. The last several years Ford has been very late in putting that on the website. It was several months after production began for the 2015 refresh when it finally went online.
  6. If I can't do it myself, I take it to the dealer, except for if it's a warranty repair. I won't do something under warranty even if I can do it myself because duh. That's my personal rule for my own cars.
  7. Goddamn lazy "journalists" THE GULLWING DOORS ARENT MAKING PRODUCTUON, THAT WAS ANNOUNCED ALREADY THE DAY THE CONCEPT WAS UNVEILED. Stupid misleading sub-headline....
  8. That's happened at FRAP with the GT350/500 seats but they caught it before it left the plant. The seats come in order on a conveyer but every once and a while something goes awry and the sequence gets thrown off.
  9. Usually 6-8 weeks from order to delivery
  10. It's not being assembled alongside RAM trucks, the trucks are moving to Sterling Heights when the 200 dies.
  11. like pioneer said, there's no incentive to invest as an employee. There's much better options out there, especially for a 401k
  12. I've had this thought myself before these pics were released solely based on where they plan on building it (Warren truck, where the current RAM is built). Provided they don't go with the astronomical pricing Sergio was going on about a few weeks ago, it's a smart move for them.
  13. Agreed. Ford and GM both have this insistence of making the front end of their trucks look like rolling bricks and I have no idea why. I've always really liked the styling of the current gen RAM, aside from the gaudy REBEL version, and I'm glad they're sticking with a more sculpted front end yet still managing to make it look like a truck.
  14. Historically, GM has always been in denial about a slowdown until it's much too late.
  15. I don't know why you're wasting your time arguing with him, not one of his 36 posts has done anything but shit all over Ford....
  16. By that same token, you probably shouldn't put it through the ringer right away either. Just drive normally for a couple of thousand miles and it will be fine.
  17. Off subject: how/why is Sergio Marchionne considered some kind of industry corporate genius? The only good thing FCA has going right now is Jeep and Ram, both entities he had arguably nothing to do with the success of.
  18. Saying it's "poor sales" is a bit disingenuous. It's normalizing inventory to match demand. Except for GM because they almost never do it, the rest of the industry is doing the same exact thing
  19. ideal scenario would be if they ever open up transfers again and I go back to FRAP. We just moved and I can now walk there in under 10 minutes, I'm literally on the other side of I-75. I can see the plant if I go to the end of my street.
  20. heh, yeah I'm doubtful. Focus sales are still declining. I wouldn't be all that surprised if my job was eliminated by this time next year
  21. But then again I've only worked 1 out of the last 5 weeks so I don't know what's real anymore. Do I still even have a job?
