  1. https://www.motor1.com/news/533440/2022-ford-fiesta-st-reveal/ here are some pics of the new fiesta facelift. Could this be a preview of what we might expect for the escape? The grille shape seems similar to that of the evos concept.
  2. https://www.motor1.com/news/532780/new-ford-everest-interior-spied/ here’s some spy pics of the new Everest. There are some interior shots as well which show it to have pretty much the same interior as the current gen. Hopefully this is only because it’s a mule, but it seems odd since it looks like a complete vehicle and not some hack job.
  3. Looking good, I’m ready for this thing to be revealed already.
  4. That ZR2 looks really nice, although I’m not a fan of the other trims. Interior looks nice. Hard to decide which one I like better, Ford or Chevy. I like the design and switch gear of the Chevy, but the screen on the Ford seems more useful.
  5. Is this the same roof design, just someone else making it? Or was the roof redesigned? I was under the impression it was a design issue and would require a redesign.
  6. Maybe ford feels they can still make a profit off of luxury sedans? Lincoln wouldn’t be selling any 20k sedans, that’s for sure.
  7. I think this headline is a bit misleading. Nowhere does the article say 25% of reservation holders opted for the manual. Look at the choice of words used, “25% of 2021 bronco owners.” People who own a 2021 bronco is a pretty small subset. And you would probably expect manuals to be higher than normal to this group of people because if you ordered a manual, you were less likely to have parts that were hard to get (minus the hardtop), so they had a higher chance of having their bronco built.
  8. Anyone notice the wheels are bronco outer banks wheels without the machining? this seems to be a nice special edition for the rangers last year. Flareside would be nice. I wonder if we will ever see a flareside again on any truck?
  9. Build and price is up. A loaded pro4x can be had for right around 45k. The interior needs some work, seems a bit dated. Interiors in most midsize trucks are a bit lacking though. Really hoping the Ranger breaks the mold and has something nice.
  10. Interesting. I thought a bronco truck with T tops instead of a fully removable roof would have been cool.
  11. Lights seem to be different on the production version. In the pic above, the headlights appear to be below the bars running through the grille and are horizontal, but spy shots show them vertical outside the bars.
  12. I think a bronco truck would have sold pretty well. Hopefully this is a sign that the NG ranger is going to be bad ass. I also think if the gladiator had a different design and better proportions, it would probably sell better. I would have liked to see something like this.
  13. Yeah, my plain explorer xlt has plenty of power for me, I’d just like a little more style.
  14. I would have preferred the dark highland green from the Bullitt mustang, but this green isn’t bad. Not a fan of the hot pepper red. Maybe leadfoot gray will be a MY23 color?
  15. 6g shows that the capable bumper is also modular. Wonder how that works? I wish they could have worked in the front license plate a bit better with this bumper.
  16. This would be right up my alley if it came with the black ST wheels too.
  17. I actually think it’s one of the smart things they did, except they couldn’t pull it off with their crappy roofs. I’m sure most jeeps and Broncos are ordered as hard tops so it just makes sense. I think Ford should have made hard tops standard on every model and increase msrp to cover the cost. For anyone who wants a soft top, charge them extra.
  18. https://fordauthority.com/2021/07/left-hand-drive-2023-ford-everest-spotted-in-dearborn/ Everest spied in LHD. Is the current Everest offered in LHD?
  19. I can’t see them doing that. Basically giving away a free top plus the added expense of shipping the hard top to the dealer seems like it would cost too much.
  20. Yep, Hyundai sold 108 Velosters in June compared to over 14k Tucson’s. I’m surprised they are keeping it at all.
  21. So what’s the plan going forward with the MIC roof? I saw over on bronco6g premierdrum say the mod top was already given to a new supplier. Is the MIC top staying with Webasto? if the design of the MIC is too complicated, would a new supplier even fix the issue?
  22. Got to sit in a 2 door badlands today. Seats were comfortable. Materials seemed good to me. Yeah, the dash is hard plastic but it didn’t feel cheap. Felt like it belonged on this type of vehicle. MGV seats were better than I was thinking they’d be. It’s definitely nothing like the vinyl seats you’d see in a work truck. The optional 33’s looked great. Overall it looks to be a great product. only real complaint was that my head would hit the cross bar when sitting in the back seat. You’d have to be sitting straight up for it to happen, like if you were trying to put your head on the headrest, so it’s not a huge deal because most people don’t sit like that, but on some bumpy terrain I could see someone accidentally hitting their head. I wonder if the 4 door has this same problem or if it has a bit more room?
  23. I’ve been wanting a 2 door bronco from the beginning. I actually got to sit in one today and it’s awesome, but getting in the back was a pain for me and my kids. I remembered getting into 2 door vehicles not being that big of a problem, but I guess being older and bigger combined with the higher step in height makes it a bit more difficult. So now I’m down to a 4 door bronco and a ranger. I really like the bronco, but the ranger probably suits my needs better, not to mention it should be less expensive. It’s good to hear there’s some exciting things to look forward too.
