  1. Glad I bought a new E-350 cutaway to replace my old van (much more reliable than Transit). How many years have they been building RWD vehicles for???
  2. I always wonder when I see a Transit cutaway (pretty rare thankfully) what the person/company was thinking buying it over an Econoline. Maybe cost wise some savings can be had in the short term? Such a failure on Ford’s part to “replace” a vehicle and not actually do it for lot’s of applications (motorhomes and ambulances to name a few).
  3. Looks just like mine except I got the chrome bumpers ?. I haven’t found many shortcomings for the old E compared to the Transit. 6.2 is like a rocket compared to the old 5.4 2 valves that’s for sure. Lose some MPG’s but I expect to outlast a comparable Transit by a large margin (6.2 6R140 combo vs. whatever junk is in Transit ?) .Ford has always meant overbuilt in severe duty applications for me (6R100 excluded cheap move for Super Duty). Vastly prefer the seating position in the E also, okay it looks a hell of a lot better and makes that V8 noise too?. And my bumpers aren’t fisher price too, can Ford just bring the real van’s back please?????
  4. And the reliability the E had/has in my opinion. A little more expensive but got a E350 SRW with KUV back to put off a euro van as long as I can.
  5. Cool pics, always nice to see a clean L still on the road. I live down on the South Coast of Mass and still occasionally see them with municipalities.
  6. Not just that but lots of options and trims are not available with chassis cab while 450 pickup offers everything. Motor is detuned in chassis cabs also.
  7. You do get the wide track super 60 front axle also along with the 19.5” 10 lug rims also. The lack of the 7.3 450 pickup is pretty dumb IMO. Heck I think the video Ford used to announce the 7.3 had a 450 running around.
  8. $10.5k upcharge for Diesel with the 20’s. I look forward to ordering a 7.3 at $1700 upcharge.
  9. I think they should stay an option mostly just for the fleets that prefer something a bit cheaper if they get damaged. But a $60k truck in 2020 without even the option is ridiculous... If Canadians are good enough to get them as an option how about us Americans Ford????
  10. No LED’s on Supercab still is really annoying and enough to keep me from replacing my 17 with a new 7.3. Interesting that the 7.3 is not available with 450 pickup also.
  11. I am not very good with posting things but here is the link that hopefully works? https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=265391&d=1565788276
  12. In taking a look at 2020 Super Duty order guide it appears that LED lights are still not available with Supercab. Canada offers them with Supercab along with both the Ranger and F-150 having them available with Supercab. Ridiculous that you cannot get a $60k truck with LED’s especially when it’s the only high end (Lariat) truck in Ford’s lineup that does not offer them (unless you live in another Country ?‍♂️).
  13. The 3.5 would melt if you put it in a SD and asked it to do what a 6.2 or 7.3 can do at maximum capacity. Never mind the long term reliability or the fact that the MPG would be worse than the V8’s.
  14. If your looking at 19’s the 250 and 350 gassers use a different transmission. Have a 17 350 that I love but I would wait for the new motor (7.3) if your going gas.
  15. Not surprising, diesel stopped being good in 2007 (or early 2003 in Ford’s case).
  16. Silverado is in a bit of trouble...
  17. Competition to bring a V8 back to Raptor hopefully!
  18. Hopefully, I am interested to see if for 20 they made stuff like LED’s or even Sport package available on SC trucks considering F150 offers most packages in SC form but not the case with Super Duty. Was a struggle just to find a SC Lariat when I bought my 17.
  19. Agreed, Bronco has always been a good mix of desert racer (Bill Stroppe anyone?) and rock crawlers. Still miss my 94 Bronco, favorite vehicle I ever owned.
  20. Excellent and something I would be interested in IF available with the Supercab.
