  1. 150K vs. 230K? Although it's nice to have the positive press about the public response, but a $100 reservation isn't a commitment for a lot of those looking for bragging rights with their friends, etc. and there are duplicate reservations to weed through too. And Ford rep's are contacting dealers daily pushing for results converting reservations to actual orders. All this for a vehicle that won't get delivered for nearly another year. Tired of the marathon of waiting and waiting and waiting for Bronco. Can't remember the last time it's taken so long to get a vehicle into production. Maybe I can feel more enthused when they actually start scheduling orders and we get to a Job #1 Date.

  4. Final 2020MY Aviator orders were due 07/23/2020.
  5. Mach-E production is slated for 50,000 units the first year but half is going to Europe.
  6. And this was a surprise? Did you really think that they'd price the ESP for a Shelby GT350 at anything close to a GT considering the potential claims of a GT vs. a GT350?
  7. Forget about seeing a new Explorer Sport Trac. The successor has been on the market for 2 years now... Ranger!
  8. Ford started building units with an interior update on the 2020 Explorer XLT's in particular a few months ago that replaced the black finish on the center stack, etc. Enhanced Interior Finishes ○ Base – New Satin Silver Twilight Color on Center Stack ○ XLT – New Satin Silver Twilight Color on Center Stack, Door Armrest Carrier, Steering Wheel Bezel and Instrument Panel Applique ○ Limited – New Satin Silver Twilight Color on Door Armrest Carrier and Steering Wheel Bezel ○ All Series – High Gloss Black Color on Center Stack Buttons ○ XLT and Limited “Uppers” with Ebony Interior - Light Slate Colored Headliner, Overhead Console, Pillars, Grab Handles, Visors and Moonroof Shade Here are some sample photos of the new center stack, etc.
  9. Per the 2021 Explorer Models & Packages Job Aid, there are no new models or trims for 2021MY other than bringing back the XLT Sport Appearance Package. No Timberline FX4 and no King Ranch at least at Job #1 and there's no mention of either being offered as late availability in anything official from Ford. We'll know for sure when the 2021 Explorer Order Guide is released.
  10. The 2021 F-350 Order Guide should be available on or about 08/17/2020 which is when the USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) opens. I'll upload it to the Dealer Order Guides section as soon as it's available.
  11. Per Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) here's the timetable for the 2021 Bronco Sport. 07/14/2020 - Order Bank Open Date 08/20/2020 - Scheduling Begins 10/26/2020 - Job #1 Date
  12. Well said as rperez817 mentioned. Ford rarely introduces something new to the market and normally plays catch-up to the competition which then takes years to earn a sizeable share of sales. Ford may have been ahead of the curve with the shift away from sedans but Dealers are now left with the dated EcoSport which is very difficult for Dealers to sell. Ford may be ending Fusion production in the next week or so but there's enough inventory in stock to last almost 2 years. CEO Fields was a disaster for Ford and cut everything to the bone regarding product development thinking that he could boost the stock price. We all saw how that played out. If Ford was as dedicated to product development with other models as it is with the F-150, Mustang and the new Bronco and Bronco Sport, Ford would be unstoppable. Yes, it takes money to do it which is exactly why Alan Mulally convinced Ford to drop Mercury and sell off Austin Martin, Volvo, Jaguar, etc. and concentrate on its core brands Ford and Lincoln, even though he wanted to kill off Lincoln too. Alan Mulally showed them all what needed to be done but when he left, Fields and those in Dearborn resorted to their old school practices. We'll have to wait to see the results but it certainly appears that they have a hit on their hands with the new Bronco and the Bronco Sport to a lesser degree. Then it's a matter of seeing what follows.
  13. Yes. H1 = Production requested for the first week of August.
  14. 7-speed manual transmission with crawler gear available with 2.3L EcoBoost engine.
  15. Agreed. Personally I'd think it would show better in white.
  16. I posted all the 2021 Bronco MSRP prices earlier this week. One thing I won't do is post "Dealer Invoice" prices as there are enough other places online where someone can find out what the invoice prices are. Flaunting or promoting invoice prices only hurts Ford Dealers and Bronco6G should not be publishing them either. I'm the first one to be critical of Ford but the business is competitive enough without making it even more difficult for Dealers to make a profit, as small as it is in most transactions. Okay, the general public won't likely see the invoice prices disclosed online and sites like Blue Oval Forums are dedicated to the real enthusiasts that are already smart enough to know how to get the invoice pricing information from other sources.
  17. It drives me crazy that Ford puts Pirelli tires on a Mustang GT. It's America's original pony car but the company cuts costs to the bone by putting foreign tires on the Mustang instead of Goodyear Eagles. I don't care if the Pirelli tires or another brand are made here. The Mustang should have American brand tires!
