JLaudioF150
We all know that either the F-series or the GM twins come out on top. BUT, realistically how much of these sales are to actual consumers (not fleet). And how do they compare to the Titan and Tundra?

BUT, realistically how much of these sales are to actual consumers (not fleet). And how do they compare to the Titan and Tundra? Hold on a second. When you're talking trucks fleet sales ARE actual customers (damn good ones, too). These are commercial fleet sales to companies that use them as work trucks. They are not daily rental fleet sales and they don't hurt retail sales.
Explorer4X4
Tundra, Titan and Ridgeline sell less vehicles to fleets then Ford and GM do. However, Tundra, Titan and Ridgeline also sell far less to consumers.
ANTAUS
Hm, well isn't that like saying, 10% of the 800K F-150's go to fleet, whereas 20% of Tundras go to fleet, when the Tundra is expected to sell at 200K. At such a higher rate of sales for the F-150, even something as small as 10%, is shitload compared to the competition that sells far less. jpd80
I see GM's truck sales underpins their recovery and sales are slow at the moment. What's happening with F Trucks, are they doing OK by comparison?

Sales are slowing on the F-series, but Ford wasn't pinning their hopes on their recovery on them either, unlike GM.

Big difference there, Ford working with fewer sales is actually doing better. Seems like a tricky juggling act but looks to be paying off. Kev-Mo
What difference does it make if sold to fleets or to individual customers. Just as long as they are sold at a profit. Any product will be discounted in numbers, it is healthy business to sell more at a discount.
