ANTAUS
I dont care very much for the bar in the gaping grill, looks like an after thought although realistically it needs to be there for safety reasons. Also, the beltline on the 4dr version seems a bit aggresive on how it rakes upwards, makes the rear wheels seem tiny although they obviously would be since it's an entry economy car. Looks ok so far...
joihan777
The style looks modern & edgey, however the wheels scream 1st gen Hyundai. The small wheels are further emphasized by the large wheel arches.
DCK
Looka great, a wierd hood bump over the front headlights though. I just Hope Ford NA doesn't decide to spend money simply to make it look bad.
jonas1022
IMHO, it's wonderful! Looks like nothing that I have seen Ford ever build before. Although the first Fiesta was new and edgy for it's time, so this one follows the originals lead. So, nothing like a little spice in your spicecake, eh? P71_CrownVic
I like the body lines, I like the size and shape, but I couldn't stand driving a car that was styled after this:

Looks ok so far... Safety against what? Wouldn't that bar be too low to meet any comparable bumper? (assuming that's the purpose) [just guessing] Maybe it's there as a receptacle for the license tag? Thankfully I live in a State (NC) that doesn't require them. Maybe it's already been established, but can anyone here that attended that employees' secret meeting (supposedly showing a B-car that garnered "much excitement") confirm that this is the car you saw? Anthony
Are those 11" wheels? Not bad looking at all.

danup
Wait, how is a gorgeous b-car going to be a sales dud when a) its predecessor is already popular in Europe and B) the Aveo isn't a sales dud in America. Say what you will, this is more car than the Aveo.
ANTAUS
Could be also a license plate holder, but if not, then would the chrome ring on the gaping lower grill opening be the first body part to make contact if there's an accident? I dont see any other part look like a functional bumper, other than that bar.
rmc523
wow that just like the concept except for the bar acrssed the gapping lower grill As others have said, I believe that bar's main purpose is as a license plate holder since front plates are required in Europe (and other countries) as well as some US states. I, thankfully live in a state (FL) where front tags aren't required.

rmc523
sales dud. If Toyota can sell it's Yaris, Nissan it's Versa, Honda it's Fit, Chevy it's Aveo, etc., then Ford will certainly be able to sell the Verve/Fiesta, which IMO is a much better looking vehicle than all the above.
