this was a response to someone that has bombarded me with Obama bashing and asking if I was a fan......................Nope not a fan…but he seems the better of the two choices….Bush and the Republicans are WHOLLEY responsible for the current state of the economy….shoot em all……but don’t you find it interesting that all you receive is Obama bashing….ZERO McCain ?????? friggen Americans piss and moan then remain loyal to the party that f%^&*$ked things up to begin with….what pisses me off is the fake garnering to certain institutes and their "memebers"/ croonies ( ie Black, Female, Christian, tree huggers, Veterans ) all trying to pick up certain factions votes….whats more important….getting the country back on track or appealing to damn evangalists, lesbians or greenies…PATHETIC! Country first…personal beliefs second

Biden was poor choice but they are realizing it too late........reminds me of the McGovern/Eagleton controversy......

Yes Nap, and they just don't know how to wiggle out of it.

Michelle was most likely the one who "deep-sixed" Hilly as the VP candidate, and now they shall pay the price. If Barry.......errr I mean Barack, can't even control his wife when it is his job to win or lose, than I have no clue on how they think he can control a miniscule part of this countrys problems.

It has become a running joke on how long Biden will stay as the VP nominee now, lolol. It was brought forward at the republican convention purposely, and every cartoon in the papers is bringing it up too. With such a running joke, it will be politcal DEATH for them to try it now for any reason, but to be honest, it is probably their only hope as Mcain/Palin has pulled ahead by 6 to 8 points in virtually every pol, and it is growing. Every day they wait, Mz Palin gets to pull women towards her ideals not because she is a woman, but because they are on the same wavelength. If they wait to long, they still will have no chance as the women will be bonded to Palin for ideals, instead of anatomy.

In the end, history will ask the question if/when Mcain/Palin are installed--------->"how did this happen?"

THE CONCLUSION----------->WOMEN, lolol. History will show it was 50% Palin dragging Mcain to victory, and 50% Michelle for forcing Barack to lose.

Women will NOT decide this election in November; my friends, they already have!!!!!!!

Thank you ladies!!!!!!! I now have something more to admire each of you for besides your brains, and beauty!!!!!

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that if Hillary had been named VP candidate by Obama that the republicans would just roll over. You can be sure that the anti-Hillary ads were already to go in case she was the choice. Every scandal of the Clinton years would have been brought up Travelgate, Vince Foster, Rose Law Firm Records etc, The republicans and Rush were just waiting for a Clinton to be on the ticket.

Biden was a great choice. He actually is ready to step in if need be. He has more foreign policy experience than anyone in the Senate.

Big dem supporter jumps ship:

Prominent Clinton backer and DNC member to endorse McCain

Posted: 10:07 PM ET

From CNN Political Editor Mark Preston, Extra

A prominent backer of Hillary Clinton is endorsing McCain.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a prominent Hillary Clinton supporter and member of the Democratic National Committee’s Platform Committee, will endorse John McCain for president on Wednesday, her spokesman tells CNN.

The announcement will take place at a news conference on Capitol Hill, just blocks away from the DNC headquarters. Forester will “campaign and help him through the election,” the spokesman said of her plans to help the Republican presidential nominee.

Forester was a major donor for Clinton earning her the title as a Hillraiser for helping to raise at least $100,000 for the New York Democratic senator’s failed presidential bid.

In an interview with CNN this summer, Forester did not hide her distaste for eventual Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

"]“This is a hard decision for me personally because frankly I don't like him,” she said of Obama in an interview with CNN’s Joe Johns. “I feel like he is an elitist. I feel like he has not given me reason to trust him.”[/[/size]color]Forester is the CEO of EL Rothschild, a holding company with businesses around the world. She is married to international banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild. Forester is a member of the DNC’s Democrats Abroad chapter and splits her time living in London and New York.

"bonded to Palin for ideals"

:hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:

De Rothchild is a non-story. There are plenty of Republicans who support Obama as well. It is obviously a personality issue. No one who supported Hillary on the issues of healthcare, woman's rights or the economy can support McCain's positions on those matters. He is the exact opposite of Hillary.

Hillary and Obama are very close on the issues and their approach to resolving America's problems. McCain is almost in total agreement with Bush and his policies. It really is just that simple.

Obama almost made #1 here

http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2008/09/up...nd-freddie.html

When the federal government announced two months ago that it would prop up mortgage buyers Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, CRP looked at how much money members of Congress had collected since 1989 from the companies. On Sunday the government completely took over the two government-sponsored enterprises, and we've returned to our data to bring you the updates, this time providing a list of all 354 lawmakers who have gotten money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (in July we posted the top 25). These totals are based on data released electronically from the FEC on Sept. 2 and include contributions to lawmakers' leadership PACs and candidate committees from the floundering companies' PACs and employees. Current members of Congress have received a total of $4.8 million from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, with Democrats collecting 57 percent of that. This week we also wrote about how much money lawmakers had invested of their own money in the companies last year--a total of up to $1.7 million.

On The Road to the White House – McCain's Hail Mary passes

And the fact is – and here the football sequence goes askew – the ramifications of McCain's first Hail Mary pass are still unfolding. That ball, having been intercepted, is still being run back; and, as the Palin meltdown continues, it's not clear it won't go all the way, for an Obama touchdown.

I'm not even going to touch the content, frankly, I just don't care. But who is feeding you this stuff?

And by the way Cap, Palin is closer to RP than any one else in the whole process. From your ideological background, you should be pushing hard for her.

This is a blog written by a Caribbean journalist for a the leading newspaper in Barbados...

Look how bad this site is: Demographics for advertisers

So c'mom Cap tell us how it works. You never write your own opinions in your own words, just link after link after link....

From the little we have seen her and heard her(one might wonder why) I don't think the light is on upstairs.

Feeding me what stuff? I look at everything.

My own words are why are we going through with this bailout(Socialist SCAM) since there seems to be no capitalization problem with banks?

http://www.fdic.gov/news/news/press/2008/pr08088.html

"On the whole, the commercial banking system in the United States remains well capitalized. This morning's decision was made under extraordinary circumstances with significant consultation among the regulators and Treasury," Bair said.

Also the FED is bringing liquidty, so why this bailout????

I don't think we will have to worry about Obama or McCain. According to Rep. Michael Burgess (Texas) said (video on C-SPAN) that “martial law” has been declared. That means Bush has basically become a dictator. We seem to be going down hill now with our speed increasing rapidly. And I highly drought that congress will be allowed to vote on this bailout plan since a large majority of them are against it. It will be shoved down the working class's throat to bail the criminals out who created and profited from this disaster. Welcome to the world of Fascism.

I watched part of the debates and if you think that Obama is a good speaker. BULLSHIT. He sounds like a stumblebum, sometimes he has trouble starting a sentence like he did on quite a few occassions in that debate. What do people see in this guy anyway? He kinda reminds me of O.J. Simpson and that's fucking scary!

Some of us understand that and the fact that McCain sucks also.

The meaning of the term “Martial Law” according to the House of Representatives. But now since the house didn’t pass the bill by ‘hook or crook’ we might get the other meaning to keep us in line.

http://www.cbpp.org/7-28-06bud-stmt.htm

The House Republican Leadership has announced its intention to have the House vote, before adjourning on Friday or Saturday, on several major pieces of legislation that are not yet available to House members in final form because behind-closed-door negotiations on the proposals are still going on. The Leadership apparently intends to use a process known as “martial law” to allow these bills to be brought to the floor very shortly after negotiations are completed, with the result that Members of the House are likely to have virtually no time to examine and consider the details of the legislation before they will be required to vote on it.

Among the matters the House may be asked to vote on under martial law are a major conference report on pension legislation, a costly bill that would permanently reduce the estate tax and extend certain expiring tax provisions, and a bill that could combine a controversial health insurance proposal with an increase in the minimum wage (there also are reports that the estate tax, minimum wage, and expiring tax provisions may be combined into a single bill). The House Rules Committee on Thursday afternoon reported a resolution that would provide martial law authority in relation to all of these bills.

Under the martial law procedure, longstanding House rules that require at least one day between the unveiling of significant legislation and the House floor vote on that legislation — so that Members can learn what they are being asked to vote on — are swept away. Instead, under “martial law,” the Leadership can file legislation with tens or hundreds of pages of fine print and move immediately to debate and votes on it, before Members of Congress, the media, or the public have an opportunity to understand fully what provisions have been altered or inserted into the legislation behind closed doors. This is the procedure that the Leadership intends to use to muscle through important bills in the next two days.

This procedure diminishes democracy. When major legislation is being considered that would add hundreds of billions of dollars to the debt or affect millions of Americans in other ways, Members of Congress should have an opportunity to study the legislation for more than a couple of hours and to know what they are voting on.

Ummm..... NO!

If you want to blame someone, blame OSAMA bin LADEN.

Remember, things were going just FINE until he decided to slaughter 3,000 innocent people on a Tuesday morning.

But, contributing to that attack, was CLINTON's utter FAILURE to do ANYTHING to stop him.

Remember, we were attacked THREE TIMES during Clinton's terms, and he was too busy screwing Monica.
