lost1
I did my part for Ford. I was able to use my X=Plan pin# that I got as a stockholder, the $750 coupon I received in a Fusion brochure and $ 4500 for my clunker Isuzu Trooper AND the 4.9% financing !! I am the proud owner of a Brillant Silver Fusion SEL 2.5 with Charcoal interior, the rapid spec 302 package, rear spoiler and 18 inch wheels. This car is VERY nice, it has more bells and whistles than I can describe right now, the interior is top notch , materials and fit and finish is perfect. The Charcoal leather with the contrasting white stiching looks fantastic. This car absolutely out classes the Camry I was in recently NO comparsion. Thank You Ford !! Harley Lover
I was able to use my X=Plan pin# that I got as a stockholder First, Congrats! Second, how does the X-plan for stockholders work? How did you get the pin #?
Michael Reynolds
Nice, you should post some pictures of it though. Man I wish I had access to that $750 coupon right about now. I have all but talked a buddy out of Nissan Altima (Nissan is practically giving some of them away) and into a Fusion. Access to that would probably seal the deal. Anyone have any extra ones lying around? Edited July 19, 2009 by Michael Reynolds
lost1
First, Congrats!Second, how does the X-plan for stockholders work? How did you get the pin #? I went online to sharebuilders.com and opened an account. You can buy or sell stock for $10 a trade once you open an account. I contacted Ford at their Shareholders Relations Vehicle Program and they sent ma a form to fill out. I mailed the form along with a copy of my Sharebuilders account showing my Ford stock and I got my Xplan pin by email within a week. I got the $750 coupon by requesting a Fusion brochure from the Ford website, it was attached to the brochure and had my name on it.

When you reply there's a browse and upload button on the bottom right, or you could use a website like photobucket.

mettech
I thought there was a $1K rebate right now on the Fusion. Was the $750 on top of that?

Anyone have any extra ones lying around? I've got one (IIRC, two actually somehow.....one with a Fusion brochure, one with something else they sent me).....but I think if you read the fine print on it, it says you can only give it to immediate family members or something like that, which almost strikes me as stupid, as you could give it to someone that you know wants to buy a vehicle now if you're not in the market at the moment. BORG
Excellent package! If I bought a Fusion, this is exactly what I would do. My Dad has a 2009 equipped in a similar fashion. Edited July 19, 2009 by BORG
Michael Reynolds
Considering what the folks over in Dearborn have done with the mid-cycle refresh of the Fusion/Milan/MKZ, I look forward to seeing what they've done with the Edge/MKX. And yeah, I'm digging that color combo. I wish you could get a Sport in White Tri-Coat.

One of the nurses I work with traded in her '99 Escort on a loaded black Fusion and loves it. She feels so good about it that she drives for the feel of it. Congrats! Hugh
Congratulations on your new Fusion. I drove my Father's SEL Atlantis Green/Charcoal cloth D25 w/6A. Absolutely amazing! His pedals seemed touchy but after taking a Fusion Hybrid off his lot and a Fusion Sport, I feel it was his particular car. Do you have that on yours? Nice pictures by the way, the silver and 18's look fantastic. Enjoy!
