Machine Man
From the Detroit Free Press: "But if workers reject the deal, Ford is likely to reconsider job promises in Flat Rock, Wayne, Louisville, Ky., and elsewhere, according to a person familiar with the situation. Ford could add capacity at its assembly plant in Hermosillo, Mexico, to build more Fusions and could add capacity at its plant in Cuautitlan, Mexico, to produce some of the compact vehicles it plans to build in Wayne, the person said." cal50
That's what hostess tried to tell its workers and look the employees thought they knew better , look at them now Hostess is gone largely to mismanagement ( X2 ) AND some labor issues that were never resolved. If a company is mismanaged no amount of concessions or give backs will offset it, On the flip side if labor demands or expenditures are excessive its also a receipt for disaster. You are comparing apples to hammers. Ford is not mismanaged and labor is where the company and the union want it to be. The contract will pass likely the 1st time and if not it will pass eventually without a strike, IMHO. Now go back to spamming every post with your really stupid and incorrect comments.
