Shovel-ready project
I wanted a Mustang when the fastback first came out (red of course). I couldn't afford one until 1967. By then, they had changed the body but I bought one anyway. It was good but not great. I had a 1960 Starliner and a 1963 1/2 Galaxy (NASCAR roof), both cool cars, but I still remember that Mustang I couldn't afford. After watching them on the auto auctions now, guess what? I can't afford them again.

joehio
One of my favorites is a 1966 Fairlane GT. Bought one used, that a cousin had, was a GT conv, should have kept it, but was young and stupid, and traded it in on a new 1970 Ford XL Sportsroof, with a 390 in it. LauraLou
I really liked the 1977 Lincoln -- very classic look and as a twelve year old at the time felt like a princess riding in it! Lots of great memories!
Bughunter
I was fond of my 59 Ford Galaxy 500. I bought it from an older gentleman who kept it in mint shape. I removed the clear plastic seat covers he installed the day he bought it. As a teenager I of course jacked up the read end, installed wide rear tires and chrome reverse rims, thrush muffler, etc. That was back in early 70's. Always got looks driving this beautiful car around town. It wasn't the retractable hardtop but that would have been a real gem.

Bored of Pisteon
I really liked the 1977 Lincoln -- very classic look and as a twelve year old at the time felt like a princess riding in it! Lots of great memories! I also miss my 76 Lincoln Town Coupe also. Driving these 1975-1979 chariots feels like you are truly the king of the road. I'm sure I'll get another chance someday... Blowe
No doubt it's Ford's 1932 coupe......no car has ever spawned so many versions from 100% stock to chopped and channeled hot rods created in the 50's right up to today. The epitome of the hot rod that has spanned and bridged so many generations of car guy/girl
