rmc523
Yeah, it seems Hyundai is going all-in on the boxy 80s look.

The Santa Fe looked somewhat compelling in photos until I saw one in person. It looks like a Land Rover dry humped a shipping cargo container. That is one butt ugly vehicle.
silvrsvt
What I find pretty interesting was the Palisades and Telluride where extremely popular when they launched back in 2020, but they have seem to fall to the wayside (at least where I'm at) since then... I still see plenty of Tellurides, but have seen fewer Palisades. Anecdotal evidence, though....not sure what sales figures look like. Andrew L
I have seen a bunch of Tellurides as well, you can tell which ones are base if the headlight has an amber ring vs a white ring. Most of the ones I see are amber.
tbone
Just when I thought Hyundai was trying to go in the right direction regarding styling with regard to the Santa Fe, they come out with this, which appears to be trying to emulate the second generation Range Rover. I think that styling has passed us by. Regarding tthe Santa Fe, the pics showed better as it’s kind of boring in person. The Telluride still seems to be pretty popular around here as I see quite a few. It’s a decent looking vehicle with a nice looking interior, so I get it. The Palisades, not so much. I'm telling you right now, that was the result of some designer just wanting to be quirky. Designers need to think about how their product will look and feel after years, not just what looks unique as a sketch.

T-dubz
Looks better than the current palisade. Can’t tell if that’s the actual grille or if it’s camo. If it is the grille, it might need a bit of work, but the rest looks good. Hyundai makes me laugh, because they do refresh/redesigns all the time and a lot of what they do is cool, but then they have to put one or two design elements in that throw the whole thing off. Here its the grille, on the Santa Fe is the rear.
