I'd imagine it'll grow a bit.
If only they had class 8! They'd sell 10's!!!
I recall that as well, plus we did see the Chinese model testing over here. But it's Ford, so who knows...
I thought it might be good looking when I first saw the concept. Then I saw one in person, and it just doesn't look good, IMO.
No thanks. It looks too old/pulled straight from the 80s to me.
What people are bitching about online and what people are actually buying are completely different things.
The other things your talking about are being driven by Government requirements for emissions and fuel economy.
Your other suggestions would make the engine physically larger and heavier with out much improvement over the performance that is already coming out of the coyote.
But then again your a self proclaimed expert that knows more then all the Ford engineers that work on their V8 program and all the associated costs and risk analyses they did to do what they did.
I can see why people don't like it-the rear end bob on it is strange looking-it reminds me of a Citroen DS or maybe a 911, but that is also part oft he reason I like it because its different without being too different.
LOL
Its a design "touchstone" (not sure what it is actually called) but when I was driving home from work yesterday, I saw a Carnival that had a similar treatment to it
Respectfully, this has an eerily similar sound to it but hey, Ford could be about to strike real pay dirt…..
LFP batteries are pretty bullet proof, so chances are good that quality issues should be a rare event and
nothing like the Mach E contaminated cell issues of a few years ago would happen with this chemistry
As for their Genesis luxury division, I genuinely believe they have some of the best designers in the industry. Where Genesis sucks is they're one of the worst brands I've seen at making an incredible concept, and nothing coming to production based on it.
But the designs are next level, my favorite kind of design, expressive, but tasteful at the same time.
To each their own. It's definitely a bold design, and whenever you have bold design, it's gonna be pretty polarizing. It doesn't work for me, but I can see why others might like it.
