  2. If you have an iPhone and the Shortcuts app installed, I’ve created a iOS Shortcut that asks you for your VIN and then pushes that info to the Ford order tracking site and pulls four pieces of info: Production Date Primary Status Status Shipment Date You can click the shortcut anytime to get order status and also program the shortcut with Siri to ask for car status. I made mine “Car status”, so I can ask “Hey Siri, Car Status” and she will respond “Built: 2019-07-19, In Production, Returned from Offsite and Ship Date: ” Simply make sure you have the Shortcuts app installed and follow this link on your iPhone to install the shortcut. It will ask for your VIN on the first run - from there you can get your status any time quickly and easily Use this link on your iPhone [ Shortcut ] (you might need to copy the full URL from your browser since this forum auto-shortens long URLS) Enjoy.

  4. We don`t need any other union, we just need the elected united auto workers to work for the dues paying members.

  7. Most people can't understand the concept of buying a Lincoln over a European or Japanese luxury brand, most people (including me) haven't driven a Lincoln... but I ordered my Aviator sight unseen. Since the GTs aren't in production yet I've had plenty of time to second guess my decision but the thought never crosses my mind. I can't wait to drive it off the lot and have no doubt that I'll be saying I've driven a Lincoln and it's the best car I ever owned.

  8. My three cents, this writer has no idea what he just reviewed. He compared it to a Sonata for goodness sake. Yes, my 280 pound golf cart is smooth and will run on a single battery for 36 holes. It will not hold 7 people, massage my posterior, keep mosquitoes out, pamper me with audiophile sound all the while putting my wife to sleep so she does not bother me. Another news flash Ford/Lincoln pivoted from the V8 a long time ago.

  9. The 10 speed tranny was already in production when the electric motor was added and they didn’t want to compromise interior room or exterior design just to give you and a few other greenies a few extra electric miles. Get over it already and go buy something else.

  10. I beg your pardon - I used the same salesman for 3 focii, one edge, 2 fusions and one escape. I stopped going there because they lowballed my trade way below wholesale) and the service dept completely sucked. I now have a new salesperson (pair actually) at another dealer where I was treated fairly and not lowballed. I bought my f150 and a friend just bought a mustang. I don’t want the absolute lowest price - I want a fair price and honesty. i also sold furniture for 6 years in high school and college and I was often confronted with lower prices from other stores or “free delivery”. We explained how their free delivery wasn’t really free and how their price may not be apples to apples and what they needed to check. Then we told them that we’d like their business but if they thought the other store was a better deal they should buy it. Because we knew our prices were better in most cases. I never told someone To go get their best price and we’d beat it because I didn’t want someone doing that to me.

  11. Are you on the Volvo sites complaining about their 18 mile all electric hybrid too, or just here?

  12. and again no dis-respect...but if someone does that, the easy comeback is weve never lost a deal to a legitimate price...you're quite entitled to spend, hours weeks , days shopping a car...depends on how much you value your own time....obviously no one cares about the sales persons time right?...Ive literally seen people spend months researching, e-mailing, calling etc etc etc ...negotiating the shit out of a deal, to save a few bucks a month....makes one wonder, definitely not how I operate...its like crawling over broken glass to pick up a nickel when the dollar bill flies past in the wind.....

  13. understand completely...it happens...did you call the kid back and tell him the details to give his "managers" the chance to equal the deal?.....I seriously have loyal customers that will tell me if someone has stated something different from me, to see if theres the chance...and sometimes Ill discover some serious BS ( ie, they are a couple of hundred cheaper , yet payments are $50 higher???? )....then again I also type my own paper so they don't have to go through the dog and pony show. Ironically, they never tell me if Im cheaper?...LMAO....

  14. The interesting thing is that Ford can completely gut a plant and having it up and running in less time then it took Tesla to even put out its model 3.
