  1. They used to fit the 460, V10 and 7.3 diesel in there.

  3. IMO, this is the guy to fast track EV and AI. That's it. He's not a builder. He's not a fixer. He's not even a maintenance leader. He's a disruptor. Just like Jac.
  4. The 6.7 is overkill in all 250 and half of 350 uses in my opinion. But that does stop people prom buying it. Limited the gas options may have a similar result.

  6. Every time Hackett does something like this, I ask where the Board is. Historically, the Board has had the final word on all major product decisions.
  7. I am seriously considering the Ranger as my next vehicle in 12-18 months. Reviewers be damned. It does everything the competitors do but IMO just looks nicer and more appealing.

  10. Agreed. IMO, GM screwed up with the Bolt and Volt by not amortizing the engineering across enough years and total volumes. Those price tags were not reflective of just increased manufacturing cost.
  11. You guys are dancing around it but not a one of you can refute that many have have paid a premium for diesel cars over the past several decades. It has been done.
  12. Right. No argument here. But it is still fact that over the previous several decades, millions of cars were sold with premium cost on an engine to get better fuel economy. Whether it's still cheaper is irrelevant. People have shown they are prepared to pay a premium. Not to mention people that paid premiums for ecoboost engines...
  13. Fact remains, there have been millions of passenger vehicles sold with a higher upfront cost for better fuel efficiency long term. That won't be the barrier to sales.

  16. Building a national network of 5 minute charging stations, on the other hand, will be easy and low cost
