  1. Cue an article in next issue about how the Bleco Bloost Camaro "surprised us with how quick it is!" Ah, MT.
  2. Remember when the Ka was breaking new ground for brand styling? In a good way?
  3. One of the things which stood out to me during my brief stint in auto sales was how dead-set the guys running the place were against customers ordering cars. If the car wasnt on the lot or another lot nearby, convince them to buy one that was. One manager made a halfway decent case that people back out of orders just often enough to be a huge pain about it, but it still surprised me.
  4. Hope they drive a fleet of early production to Cleveland and park them in a ring around Drumpf's Tahoe. Americans still make some pretty great things, Donny.
  5. Buttermilk chicken sandwich is pretty decent, for Mcd's.
  6. Good, now please sign these articles if annexation we have prepared. Do you want to be one huge state or a bunch of big States? We need to know how many new stars go on the flags.
  7. It's not going to happen. It's still more economical to build in a low-labor-cost American (continent) market and import to the US than to do so from China. And the Chinese/Asian manufacturing capacity is needed for the Asian markets anyway.
  8. Darn, I just realized April 1st was a great opportunity to do a "I want a Lincoln variant of the GAA" post. Ah well.
  9. Rarely, which is one of the reasons I'm a Ford guy. But I'd rather not be unpleasantly surprised.
  10. No argument here. Hopefully they keep pushing the production vehicles in that direction.
  11. Noise, safety, lower repair costs despite higher repair frequency, and Oil Industry pressure.
  12. Not many companies doing stripper performance models, it shaves too much profit.
  13. For the Lincoln sister vehicle, absolutely.
  14. It's entirely possible a 4-door Mustang which was simply a mustang stretched to fit 4 more doors could work, but I'm somewhat pessimistic. If there really is a desire in Ford to do a new V8 RWD seda based on Mustang's platform, I'd prefer they went in more of an Interceptor direction. I dont mean just re-do the Interceptor, I mean combine cues from past Ford sedans inside and out with the current company design language (or use it to launch a new one). Done right, I think they could do a heck of a good Falcon/Torino/whatever and it would stand without needing the Mustang name to prop it up.
  15. How many were tested? One vehicle failing might be an outlier.
  16. That's modern endurance racing: you keep getting better until you're great or you rub out of cash.
  17. The problem here is they seem to be emulating the nu-NSX "why developer a car in 3-5 years when you can take 15?" approach.
  18. Plenty of reasons the SS doesn't sell for s---, most of which Ford could get around with better planning and execution than Chevy. That said, it would still seem like a lot of resources to put into a small niche.
  19. I wish the beltline were level instead of sloped front-to-back, but otherwise that's really cool
