  1. Ford had to do this too. Not just once. Over 450,000 Ford F-150 trucks recalled in Canada after block heaters cause fires https://globalnews.ca/news/4784983/ford-f-150-trucks-recalled-canada/ https://www.freep.com/story/money/cars/ford/2020/08/12/f-150-recall-fire-risk/3353550001/
  2. yeah, like spitting out spark plugs and having them break off when removing them. Those are real complex. D'oh
  3. They are still developing this engine. Running only 16.5 lbs of boost. Brian said he needs 20 - 21 lbs. This motor is a lot less complicated than a DOHC and can be packaged into anything like an LS. I think that is the attraction with it. I know I don't want to cut the shock towers out of my '67 Mustang to put a coyote in it.

  5. Well I think I got in and out at a good time. In @ $448 and out @ $773. Not bad.
  6. You people do realize that government money is OUR money. The government doesn't make money it spends OUR money.
  7. Could be, but as long as it keeps going in a positive direction I'm staying in. I have more than doubled my money since November. While Ford stock is still trading in the 8 to 9 dollar range about right where it's been since I got out.
  8. How about building high quality cars and trucks. Then the sales will come. Until they do that it will be the same old same old.
  9. Yup Massachusetts always the follower never the leader. Governor Charlie Baker has to go!
  10. Time person(s) of the year. This makes me LOL..... https://www.npr.org/2020/12/11/945335705/joe-biden-kamala-harris-named-time-person-of-the-year
  11. I'm not in any camp. I just like to make some money in the stock market. Just have to watch and know when to get in and out. Ford stock just doesn't do much it trades in such a small range it's not going to make you much money at least in the near term.
  12. "may" and "if" sounds about right.
  13. I think the insurance would and can (at least here in communist Massachusetts) replace it with a used part.
  14. As Ford stock has trouble staying in the 8 to 12 dollar range Tesla is on its way up again after the split, currently at almost $600. I'll take the ride up and get out when it tumbles down. Meanwhile Ford stock struggles along as always.
  15. Yup, they have been saying that for years. And that pertains to any stock.
  16. I'm laughing all the way to the bank. I sold my Ford stock and bought Tesla.
  17. Ford is eating its self for poor quality. Greed is biting them in the ass.
  18. Did the dealer say it was normal, LOL like the ticking in the 5.0 Coyote's?
  19. I agree. The part worked well for what it was designed for. But when the part was used in something it wasn't designed for is where the quality fell through the cracks. And that is a problem if that keeps happening.
